About this listen
Summer 1923 - PARIS
Camille decides it's time to make her promised visit to Paris to see her old friend, Madame Tatou. She, Ottilie, and Cecily travel to France by aeroplane, a new experience for them all. They have a purpose in going to Paris, one that they hope will end in joy, but their plans are somewhat waylaid when Madame Tatou finds the body of her maid in a cupboard at her 7th Arrondissement apartment. The intrepid Camille, and her loyal maid, Cecily, set out to discover why Madame Tatou's maid was murdered, who wanted her dead...and why!
Murder in Paris is the fifth book in the Camille Divine Murder Mysteries series, a mystery that tests Camille and Cecily to the limit, a story of intrigue with a French flavour, and of course, our girls, Lady Camille Divine and her loyal maid, Cecily.
The Camille Divine Mysteries Series will appeal to fans of Agatha Christie, Agatha Raisin, Downton Abbey, Father Brown by G K Chesterton, The Miss Fischer series, and the contemporary series, Midsomer Murders.

The Series Keeps Getting Better!
The Camille Divine series started off really strong with 'The Christmas Tree Murders' and usually seties draw me in for a few books, but it is rare for me to get addicted and looking forward to every new release! (Full disclosure, the other series I collected were Adams, Rice, Holt, Rankin, Self, Boyne & Wilbur Smith so it's varied)
Camille was my first cosy mystery and I was immediately hooked. It's a new genre for me and I was already drawn in by the historical aspect but as soon as I started reading and getting to know the characters and wriying style, I was abdolutely entranced
Paris is my favourite so far (although it is really close) and you get to see a different dide of our heroinescand indeed Richard! Cecily and Elsie play blinders and Camille heads the charge! Absolutely fantastic!!
