Summary

I just need to know...which one of you slept with my husband?

You know that ‘till death do us part’ bit in the wedding vows? Well Zoe Dalton believed it. She walked up the aisle thinking that she was strolling to her happy ever after.

One month later, her heart is in pieces, she’s returning the wedding gifts and there’s a husband-shaped space next to her in bed. He’s gone, after Zoe discovered a devastating secret.

But Zoe has lost so much more than her marriage. Her three sisters are not only her siblings, they’re her best friends, too.

Now she’s discovered that one of them may have been the reason her husband betrayed her.

She’s lost her happy ever after, but has she lost a sister, too?

Excellent!

Best book I've listened to in ages! I was completely enthralled from the first chapter. The whole story is one big who dunnit with plenty of laughs but with some poignant, real moments too. Each character is well developed and not without flaws and with each chapter you can see their perspective and understand their side of things. It's a story of humour, sisterhood and intrigue. It's so refreshing to read a book that I really wasn't sure of the outcome, kept me guessing until the end.

I really enjoyed the narrator too, the story was made even wittier with her glaswegian lilt. I will certainly be reading more from Shari Low!

I found it trick to keep listening.

I listened for 2 hours but found it all very confusing. Too many different parts of the story with different characters and the narrator was hard to follow too.

Ok

Sometimes a little hard to follow, jumping from one month to another year etc. Story took a time to get going and didn’t keep me all that engaged.

Enjoyable

I did really enjoy this book. I didn't however like the bad language. Which is why it only got 4 stars.

Excellent book.

Loved all the characters. You really got involved with them and you could relate to them and how their feelings worked with themselves and each other. Good story line all the way through. Will be looking for another book by this author most definitely.

Good and frustrating

Really enjoyed the storyline to this story, but it took a lot of concentration to keep up with the characters stories. There were a lot of characters and half of the time I hadn't forgotten their back stories.

It was read well, apart the Scottish accent, the other accents. i.e. French and American weren't great.

Not too bad but a bit confusing

There were so many characters that I was mixing them up right until the end of the book. Maybe that's just me! The story of sisterhood was lovely though and I did enjoy the book overall but I do prefer fewer main characters, I couldn't get invested in any of them as the story flitted from one to the other continually.

tried twice, couldn't finish

I tried twice to get into this. First time, half way through, and second a little longer. Too twee and too much jumping around with the story. Got bored and gave up

Surprised

To start with I found this book confusing then as I got to understand the characters I really enjoyed it. One of those where you want to know the ending then sad because you’ve finished the book

Brilliant narration

It took a while to grasp where the story was going. But a light hearted Glaswegian story. Really enjoyed it.
