About this listen
Neccabashar has fallen so low: he's lost his seat on the Evil Council. He's also had to give up his bachelor pad on Volcano Plaza and has moved in with mother. He's been forced to take a job working in the Pits and can barely afford horse treats for Torment.
But never fear. Our Demon friend has a plot to regain his seat on the Evil Council.

Devils & Demons & Imps, Oh my!
I certainly enjoyed the first book enough to be willing to give the second one a chance. I wasn't disappointed. Humour is notoriously difficult to write and very few authors avoid the various pitfalls within the genre. There's a noticeable improvement in the depth of storytelling and just the right amount of humour not to clog the narrative. Once again, it isn’t highbrow humour but nor is it lowbrow instead sitting firmly in the middlebrow section. It's safe to say if you liked the first book you're gonna love the second.
Hannibal Hills does a stirling job once again bringing his vocal talents to the table. I certainly hope he'll be utilised in any further books in the series. The audio quality is top notch with no noticeable dips or breaks in the production.

Better than book one, it's brilliant.
Now this was what I expecting from book one, a totally hilarious story about a Demon 'gone bad' haha, he ends up helping an Angel (because not all Demons are as black as they are painted in this book) . Basically, both books are stories about how good triumphs over evil (even in hell apparently) but this book really is great, I loved it. I particularly loved the character of Einstotle (no idea if that's the correct spelling or not) he is an inventor who ended up in hell because ..... buy it, then wait until the end to find out !!! Mr Hills is perfect for this book, I particularly love his characterisation of the whining Director of Financial Ruin when asking how much the invention will cost them. Hysterical. I really do recommend this and have just discovered that there is book three due for release in November this year, I am hoping it will also arrive in audio this year.
