Summary

An inn is a place to rest, a place to talk and share stories, a place to find adventure, or a starting ground for quests and legends.

It is in this world, at least. To Erin Solstice, an inn seems like a medieval relic from the past. But here she is, running from Goblins and trying to survive in a world full of monsters and magic. She’d be more excited about all of this if everything wasn’t trying to kill her. But an inn is what she’s found, and so that’s what she becomes; an innkeeper, who serves drinks to heroes and monsters.

Actually, mostly monsters. But it’s a living, right?

Outstanding in all aspects

I have to admit I have little if anything to add to the headline. The story was simply wonderful. If this book had been written before the first world war: The Wandering Inn and Pirate Aba would be the book, Tolkien would be judged against!

Very good read

A very good book, well read and no holds barred leaves you wanting to read the sequel . no character is safe and like chess, pawns must be lost to win the game.. pre ordered the next book can’t wait for its release.

Just get it!

I don't normally write reviews but I felt the need for this one as it truly is a hidden gem. First off the length is amazing value 43 hours for 1 credit and it is nice to get a book that does not feel like it has been split into more books for no reason.

I enjoy LitRPG which is another reason I got this book but I was expecting a plot I had seen time and again with gaming elements. Instead what I got was an amazingly enjoyable, emotional and original story that I could not help but binge in a little over two days. The performance was also outstanding and done with passion that made me really feel what the characters were feeling.

My only real complaint is I can't seem to find anywhere when the audiobook for volume 2 will come out :(

Loved it

At the start, the MC does annoy you slightly, but hey how would you feel if you were transported to another world with nothing and no understanding of of why or where or even how ! Hang it out because this book is amazing, and it continues to get better and grow on you the more you connect with the world ! Instantly on to the next book every time ! Narrator is the best in the business !

I loved every minute of this!

I can't believe this book was 43 hours long; it just flew by! Brilliant characters, an interesting world and a gripping story. Some slightly clumsy sentence structure in places, but that's a fault of the original text rather than the audio book!

I cannot wait for the next part and am strongly considering just going and reading the web serial version!

The Wandering Inn

This audiobook has a lot of unexpected plot twists. I have experienced a lot of different emotions while reading this story - more that on any other series.

Fantastic book

Written with charm and grace. beautifully performed. This is a standard of storytelling that most writers can only aspire to reach.
