About this listen
When two young sisters run away on Dartmoor, Daniel Whelan and his German Shepherd are called into action. A desperate search of the moor quickly turns up one of the girls. However, rather than showing relief at being rescued, she seems terrified, and Daniel cannot help but notice the strange behaviour of her father and uncle. Just what had the girls been running from?

odd story
only half way thru but I'm puzzled as to why the story evolved at all...after they found the house, bringing the police would have sorted it all out. Far fetched to think an individual would proceed alone ? I'll continue reading and see if I'm wrong

Good story, well written and narrated
Good to read a story with a new slant. The main characters are very likeable and the tale is believable.

A familiar story in a different setting.
I enjoyed the book, even though I guessed the why. It was interesting to see how it unwound. Description of the environment was very true to life.
