About this listen
Are you always guilty until proven innocent?
No One Left to Tell is the compulsive second instalment in the Baltimore series, by Sunday Times bestselling author Karen Rose.
You are alone. There's no one left to tell....
Ramon Muñoz has spent five years in prison, convicted of a murder his family is convinced he didn't commit. In desperation they turn to private investigator Paige Holden for help.
Paige cannot resist the family's pleas, but when Ramon's wife is brutally executed she is thrown headlong into a case which will place her job, her friends and her life in jeopardy.
As Paige risks everything to prove Ramon was set up, she comes to realise that there is more at stake if Ramon is freed than she could have ever guessed. Can Paige stay alive long enough to unmask an unstoppable killer who will not rest until there's no one left to tell?

Narration let's it down
I love Karen Roas. This is the second book in the Baltimore series and focuses on Paige and Greyson and the mayham that ensues around them. The story twists and turns and there are a number of interesting development. All in all a good story.
The drawback is the narration. Marine Howe's voice is Soooo irritating. Her phrasing and breathy delivery makes it hard to listen to and detracts from the story.

Could be better!
Narration is irritating, a major character is called Daphne, two syllables as far as I understand it, however our narrator turns it into Daphene drove me bonkers. Usual drawn out complicated story from Karen Rose. Think sometimes a little less exposition would be useful.

Great story, not so great narration....
This book is a slow burner and it did take a while to get into it didn't help with the narrator's quite irritating voice. It was the story that kept me interested but to be honest i haven't listened to it again primarily because of the narrator which is a shame.

Good Story, Ham Reading
I've enjoyed all of Karen Rose's books - an enjoyable mixture of drama, mystery and romance so my husband treated me to this one from Audible. Oh my god! I had no idea that it was possilbe to 'over act' while reading a book (and I've listened to more than my fair share over the years) but Maxine Howe certainly manages it! She even dramatises the chapter numbers! I've given up listening to it and brought the book which I am thoroughly enjoying and will be making sure that I don't listen to anything else narrated by this woman.

Does not live up to hype
This is my first book by Karen Rose. I cannot say it will be my last but it did drag on a bit and didnt find the narration or storyline particularly gripping. The story was ok and I guess I was interested somewhat in the characters but to be honest finished the book as I paid for it and felt I should. Could not recommend this read.
