About this listen
“So you’re single?”
“Are you seriously hitting on me right now while I have breastmilk all over my shirt?”
When Grant Thomas, the handsome stranger standing in front of me in line at the coffee shop, stripped his uniform shirt off and handed it to me, I could have sworn I was on an episode of Punked. Not only was the man Gabe Kapler’s doppelganger, but he was also a pilot and good with babies, which my six month-old daughter could attest to as she settled in his arms while I changed into his shirt, contemplating all of my life choices at that moment.
Being a single mom is a lot harder than I thought it would be, but that was the decision I made when I chose to have a child via sperm donor since I was tired of waiting on Mr. Right.
But suddenly, Mr. I’m-Too-Sexy-for-my-Shirt appears in my life—not only once, but twice—and has me wondering where the hell he’s been and why I didn’t meet him sooner?
Grant demonstrates time and again that he’s invested in me and my daughter, shows up for me when I need him the most, and makes my toes curl in a way I didn’t know was possible.
He’s perfect. Our relationship is perfect.
Until it’s not.
When the inkling that I’m missing something comes to fruition, there’s only one question I need to answer…
Will my heart end up broken like every time before, leaving me destined to be alone?
Or could our path to find one another prove that not everything happens as planned?

Great series conclusion!!
Audiobook review: Narrated by Connor Crais and CJ Bloom
5 stars for story / 5 stars for performance
There is not one thing to complain about with this book. The meet cute is just adorable, Grant is super swoony, and Noelle is such a relatable single mom who isn't afraid to own her insecurities. The way Grant has struggled his whole life had me feeling all kinds of things for him and I truly appreciated the authors care in discussing sensitive subject matter. Scarlett stole the show with all her baby antics and the rest of the ladies (and their men) are just as fun as ever. Now we get some male perspective that amplifies the gossip and advice between the group.
This audio blew me away. Both narrators are top tier for me. CJ Bloom was amazing as Noelle and captured all the emotions so well. Connor Crais has the perfect voice for a larger, protective mmc and had me unable to turn this book off.
This has been one of my favorite reads / listens this year and I do highly recommend listening to the audiobook versions if possible.

Not as Planned
Not As Planned is a cute single mom, chance encounter romance. This is the fourth book in The Ladies Who Brunch series. Noelle has done nothing but dreamed of becoming a mother. Now in her thirties she still hasn’t found her Mr.Right. She has decided to pick a donor and become a single mother. She realizes being a mom is not as easy as she thought it would be. At one of the most inconvenient times of her life she meets Grant. Grant may just be the man she has always dreamed of.
CJ Bloom and Connor Crais did an incredible job narrating this book. I loved every second of it.

Grant & Noelle
Oh Grant! 😢 Swoon!!!
This story made me cry. It was so touching, so real… this couple could be any of the millions of couples, of people that go through the same things. Both Noelle and Grant were so brave… I just loved them and felt like hugging them both.
Thank you Connor Crais and CJ Bloom to bring them to life.

Sweet and Heartwarming
This is the fourth book in The Ladies Who Brunch Series. I love this series of interconnected stories. Noelle and Grant's story is so sweet, passionate, heartwarming, and engaging. Noelle, a single mom, is beautiful, smart, and independent. Grant, a pilot, is handsome, caring, and supportive. He is such a great man! They complement each other. Their story is filled with secrets. I loved to follow them in their journey to love. I loved to see again the characters from the first book in the series. Noelle's friends are amazing! CJ Bloom and Connor Crais did an excellent job bringing this story to life. They are perfect as Noelle and Grant. I highly recommend this series.

So much fun and angst
I was so happy to finally get Noelle’s story. She is such a sweet person. I really love how she took charge in her life and decided to have a baby on her terms, but I also really appreciated how it highlights the struggles of being a single mom. And the emotional roller coaster it is being a new mom.
Grant is such an amazing guy! I absolutely adore how he loves Scarlett just as much, and includes her. He is so loving and supportive of Noelle as a woman and a mom.
CJ Bloom & Connor Crais did such a wonderful job bringing out all of the intense emotions.

Brunch is so much fun!
I want to go to brunch! This group of women has been so much fun to get to know. Each has her own personality and quirks, but the bond they share is something to be wanted by all. This is the last of the four, and it's fabulous. Noelle is a single mom. She was tired of waiting for the perfect man, took the situation into her own hands and had a baby on her own. When she meets Grant, soaking shirt and all, he is immediately taken with her and literally gives her the shirt off his back while he holds her adorable daughter. The chance they meet again is minuscule, but as fate should have it, they do and now they are inseparable. But each holds a secret that could implode their relationship. Or will it? This story is so good, I had to listen straight through the night. Noelle finds the confidence in herself through Grant, realizing she is beautiful, and more than just mom. Grant is perfect in every way, until he's not. But swoon worthy? Oh my, is he ever. With the girls by her side and Grant's brother keeping him real, this book is everything. Give this one a listen, along with the first three. Not only will you be smiling with each one, but your ears will thank you!
CJ Bloom and Connor Crais bring this beauty alive with a narration to surpass all others! Bloom is Noelle, the tired and thrilled new mom and the passionate yet hesitant girlfriend. She melds into the confident woman with her inflections. Crais uses he voice to win over not only Noelle, but the baby, and he melts the heart. Plus his vulnerability is heart wrenching! Loved these two and enjoyed the story!

Noelle and Grant!
Noelle’s dreams for the future have always included a man to share her life with and children however she hasn’t had the best luck when it comes to romance, so she has decided to have a baby on her own. She realizes that raising Sawyer alone would be challenging but she never expected a sexy stranger to come to her rescue not once but twice.
Grant’s life hasn’t unfolded the way he expected as well as not only is he single he isn’t sure that being a father is part of his future. When he meets Noelle all he wants to do is be there for her so when fate brings them together again, he isn’t about to let her, and Sawyer walk out of his life.
This story shows both the challenges and gifts of being a parent. The feelings that Noelle and Grant have for each other are undeniable, but they must learn to overcome their pasts and trust that the love they share is strong enough to overcome everything life throws at them. The narrators did a wonderful job of not only having showed the love they shared but the enduring friendship between these women.

A bit long
I did almost give up as it seemed to get a bit repetitive in the middle. Also wish Connor had narrated more but I guess Grant doesn’t have that many chapters.
