Summary
"My rainy days are yours, Dominic. If you want them."
Once upon a time… there lived a man with a vengeance-filled heart that held too many secrets and a woman, pure of soul, intent on uncovering them. What they failed to realize is that through the storm their love would create, a legacy would be born.
One Last Rainy Day is a spinoff of the Ravenhood series and the first installment of the Ravenhood Legacy series. Both series must be listened to in order.

Absolutely stunning book
I’m not good with words but found myself living every word. It both happy & sad, the character building was great. I’m so glad I found this story and have gone on to read others by Kate Stewart which are equally as good.
The narrators are amazing, I don’t know how the managed to read some parts without falling to peace’s as I’m sure many a reader has and will again even when they read it a again and again. The end credit from Kate, take the time to listen to it, I have no words
Thank you

Ugh! 5 🌟
I have read it and listened to it, too.
The Ravenhood Trilogy is in my top 3 favourite series! This book though… I feel bereft. It was amazing. I read in one sitting and finished at 3am. I should know better. Thank you for writing it… although, I feel a major book slump coming on!!!
Maxine and Joe, the narrators, well, they are my faves. The audible version was excellent! 💜

Getting to hear Doms Perspective
I no longer like Cecilia. Having heard this from Doms point of view i now feel like Cecilia never loved either Sean or Dom she was too quick to turn to Tobias and this audio helped me understand the whole situation better. Dom was trying to protect Cecilia the whole time but she got too sweapt up in needing answers and not trusting the situation. I loved the narration Joe and Maxine work so well dual narrating

What a ride
I have llistened to all the ravens books. I didnt have any expectations but t was not expecting what i heard at all. Theres no doubt they are explicit but they are so much more. An amazing story and characters that were very real and brought to life by the exceptional narration by maxine mitchell and joe arden. I have listened to many audio books and these two narrators are the best ever. I have just started an audible book to find maxine and joe are the narrators, i hardly care about the content now.
One last rainy day i could not resistt. Thinking it was the original books but told from doms point of view. It is, but so much more a real gift. This is book one and i shall be looking forward to the next installment. I hope kate is writing it now. Thanks kate your books will stsy with me.

Perfection
Reread on 17/10/2023 - Still perfection. Reread with the audiobook. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell did sooo good, what an experience.
“What difference can one man really make?”
I love this series. That final chapter was EVERYTHING. Whoosh whoosh.
————————————————————————————————
This is the Dom POV I never knew I needed! I was worried that this would just be a retelling of Flock & Exodus from Dom’s point of view but it was so so so much more than that.
Kate Stewart did an excellent job in giving us new information without regurgitating the first two books. It gave Dom’s character so much more depth and it gives us a much greater insight into the relationship between Dom & Cecelia and also the relationship between Dom and Tobias, the constant guilt he felt, but also the peace he had at the end.
We all knew how this book was going to end, but the journey to get there was perfection. The last chapter opens up the Ravenhood world to many more stories and I am here for it.
The Ravenhood trilogy is one of my all time favourite series and this book did not disappoint (and it easily could have).
Now I just need to get over it and stop bawling my eyes out...

My heart broke for a 2nd time.
There may be a few spoilers. I have just finished this and wanted to to do my review immediately. Firstly, I absolutely love Dom. Seeing the story from his POV, only adds to the heartbreak I felt in books 1&2. I actually had to have a break before starting this one. The effect the other parts had on me was raw. I truly felt the heartbreak that so many have talked about. Hearing Doms side of the story has cleared up many questions. But it’s left me crying AGAIN. I so wanted him and Cecelia to end up together. More so than Sean and her. Dom did not deserve the ending he had. But props to the author, as she truly made you feel every single emotion. I would recommend reading this book, but if the previous ones hit you in the feels, then you might want to prepare yourself for this one. I can honestly say I have only ever read one book which made me cry. I am an avid bookworm and love all genres. This series truly buried itself into my Heart and I will never be the same for it.
**Edit I needed to add, it has taken me 8 books to allow this series to stop my heart hurting quite so much and despite the fact I did enjoy the original series ending, every single time I hear Joe Arden narrate, I am brought straight back to Dom and Sean and keep wishing they had ended with the girl. I have never had a series affect me as this did, I wonder how many books it will now take for this to completely out of my system ha ha Edit**
