Not what I expected but in the best way
I loved this book. It made me laugh out loud so many times - gangly necked feather demons 🤣 - and then it got me in the feels at the end. I may have listened to a particular chapter more that once because it brought the spice too. IYKYK. 😉

All the feels and all the words
I knew this would be good because, well, it's Joe. A man with a brilliant brain and a big heart. But my goodness this was far, far better than I even imagined.
Joe's story telling ability, both with his writing and with his voice, is stellar. This story will give you all the feels. His descriptions are evocative and imaginative and his prose flows beautifully.
A an aside, I'm not familiar with LA but he has included so many landmarks and quirks of the town he loves that I now want to go!
If you want to listen to a book that has it all, all the emotions... all the anticipation, the frustration, the love..is well written and leaves you feeling really good then this is the one.
Thank you Joe. It was worth the wait.

Brilliant
I never write reviews but I just had to after listening to this story.
Joe you are an awesome narrator as we all know but add author to that now. You have written an amazing story, I want Liam/Will and Raven as friends. Such a beautiful story with excellent accents to boot. Loved the interludes with the amazing Maxine Mitchell.
If you want a feel good story with laughter, tears and hotness thrown in this is well worth the credit.

OMG
O M G this was soo amazing had laugh cry’s and love what more can u ask for in a book x what made it the better is that Joe Arden write and narrated this book his voice is the best and every book has dose is just amazing for me and how he dose male and female voices
I wish I was allowed to do more then 5stars and I really hope he dose more book both writing and saying them

Loved it
I’m a big fan of Joe Arden as a narrator and was excited to listen to him read his own book. I wasn’t disappointed. Loved it. Just the right amount of frustration (me shouting at him to just tell her!!!!), and enough angst to follow. I liked the interludes, a very clever way to get inside the female characters psyche without make it a duet. Well done Joe

With a phone filled with audio books this is my first ever review!
You created perfection.
This book is every woman's dream and yes it seems it's taken a man to create it 🤣
you hit every situation with perfection, and reacted to difficult situations exactly how you want your man to react.
I listened and didn't get frustrated with any of it... which can often happen, but no... in fact I was fist pumping the air with every word out of Will/Liam's mouth.😜
give yourself a big pat on the back Joe! a job well done!
