The book all women needs!
Interesting and informative book. The introduction reminds me of when my period started and how confuses I feel at that time; chapter by chapter, the book explains the science behind the nature of the period. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a woman or knows a woman.

Practical tips on this tabu topic
This is a useful book for young women. I certainly learned a lot and wished I had some of this knowledge when I was younger. As the book says helpful for men too to understand more about this topic. This should not be as tabu a topic as it has been for many men and women.

Worth it
So, I was drawn to this book by the title. I was nearing my period and I get grumpy when that time of the month nears so I figured, what the hell! I added it to my list. Then parked it there for a while until, trying to distract myself from cramps, I started listening to it and immediately wished I had started earlier. The author's approach makes the book so interesting to listen to and the information makes it worth every penny. I don't think I ever understood periods as I do now.
