Not enough lessons per purchase
The Pimsleur language system is rightly prized for its method of teaching. I’ve tried Pimsleur before and was delighted to see that their courses were available on Audible. My one nit-pick is that each purchase is abbreviated to only 6 lessons, meaning that you need to make multiple purchases to get a reasonably comprehensive course of learning. I know that Pimsleur courses are expensive to buy (getting on for £300 per course) but I would have been happier if there’d been 10 lessons per purchase rather than a measly 5.

Good first steps
Could have had more chapters but definitely an accessible learning tool, would recommend it to anyone as a starting point

Excellent introduction
Like most of Pimsleur’s language courses this is an excellent introduction to a beautiful language. The vocabulary is fairly small but it shows you how to manipulate the words to your advantage. I would readily recommend this course to the complete beginner, and in fact to people who already know some Hindi, because in the matter of pronunciation practice Pimsleur is second to none.

Assumes you’re a man!
When talking about yourself, you’re taught to use the men’s -a ending rather than the women’s -i ending. This is a problem if you’re not a man! (Though you can work around it if you know about it.)
It’s not always clear which consonant a word starts with: a क or a ग, a द or a त or a ट. So you might need to look words up. And if you find it easier to study grammar explicitly than to work it out by immersion, you’ll want to do some extra reading.
Otherwise, the course seems very good. I find Pimsleur courses easier to focus on than most others, and an Audible subscription gives you much better value than the Pimsleur website.
