About this listen
Deep in the heart of old London town, spirits are drawn to the tempting lure of a lie....
As Jess Ballard is struggling to adjust to her new life in London without Finn Carey to watch over her, she has thrown herself into her role as a tracker, using her gift to communicate with and help as many spirits as she can. But just as she begins to settle into a new city, the city reveals a mystery too intriguing - and dangerous - to ignore.
Something sinister is drawing restless spirits to a tiny old museum, luring them with a promise of salvation it cannot deliver upon. Meanwhile, Durupinen are being brutally attacked, and their gifts are being twisted with a Casting too terrible to comprehend. Can Jess discover the connection between the two mysteries before she - or someone she loves - becomes the next victim?

Great story, awful narration
The British accents in this book are just awful! It is so jarring and I just cannot get past it to enjoy the excellent story! They were barely bearable in the last books but now that this book is set in London, it's too much! Cannot stand it!

Loved the story, narrator annoying
Loved the story, the characters are endearing, but found the narrator's accents are really annoying, she certainly does not know how Londoners sound.

it's good but..
it's good but I did see many of the twists coming a mile off. What I didn't see coming was the end of the book lol.

Awful accents, fab story
Another great book with an excellent storyline. Unfortunately, terrible narration. The accents seem to have gotten worse as the books go on, the Scottish and British accents are absolutely awful, and somehow Tia's American accent is also dreadful... Thankfully Hannah, Jess and Mylo sound fine so the story was still enjoyable!
