About this listen
Are you worried about going to the park or letting your puppy off-leash? Recall is the single most important part of your puppy training because it affects every day of his life and yours for years to come.
Without good recall, walking him will be stressful. Will he come back? Will he run over to a dog that isn’t friendly? Will he run in front of a car? All of these things might mean that you decide to keep him on his leash for walks rather than take any risks.
Getting your puppy to come back to you, and to return every time, really is possible, and the sooner you start to teach and train your puppy the easier it will be.
Recall training absorbs all the main training elements that you need for your puppy. From leash and clicker training to teaching him to pay attention to you, as well as the cues of sit, stay and, come.
In this book I will cover all the essential training that you will need to ensure your puppy returns to you all the time. Here is a taster of what you will learn:
- How to get your puppy to pay attention to you
- Indoor and enclosed recall training
- Sit, stay and come
- Walking to heel
- Clicker training
- Leash training
- Recall
- Using the long line
- Proofing
- Emergency stop
- Off-leash
- Going to the park
And much more.
The training in this book uses positive reinforcement. Punishment is never used nor recommended. There is too much evidence now to prove the value of positive training and the damage that teaching through punishment can do. Positive training makes training fun and rewarding for both your and your puppy.
If you want your puppy to come back to you all the time, and to enjoy every walk, anywhere you go so that he is safe and happy, then you need to listen to this audiobook!

Easy to Follow!
The book gives a helpful guide on pubby training. The indoor and outdoor recall training was the most essential that I did not know. It provides an excellent guide to ensure that pubby comes back home, and getting pubby to pay attention was a vital point. The book emphasized the use of positive reinforcement and never punishment,

just what I was looking for!
This book has been a life saver for me and my puppy!
I've never had a dog before so needed all the help I could get.
The author, an accredited trainer has put together some amazing tips and tricks to get your puppy trained to do what you want it to and to keep them safe and happy
From recall to leash and heal and everything in between. I found the information about taking the puppy to the park and how you can decipher the behaviour of other dogs who might want to interact with your puppy interesting
.
Also what I found fascinating was how we are supposed to teach our puppy about eye contact and listening and waiting..it made me smile as I work with children and I use the same strategies to teach these skills however I use stickers for rewards and not doggy treats lol!
Very helpful book. If you've got a puppy who needs training then this book is for you!!

The most important thing to train your puppy!
I feel very strongly about off-leash recall training. Come, stay and stop in particular are in my opinion the most important things to teach your dog as soon as humanly (and caninely) possible! Especially if you're dealing with a high-energy breed, or a large breed.
I see people struggling to communicate with their dog all the time, which is such a shame, because dogs LOVE interacting with their humans and learning! Our only job is to make our demands crystal clear and easy to understand. If you do it right, and early on, it will become an ingrained habit and every walk will be a breeze with minimal effort!
This audiobook is the perfect guide to achieving exactly that. It features the whole training process from prep to first cues, training steps and everyday practice in the park. It is possible to train your puppy, bond, and have fun at the same time! The reward will not only be a dog who understands exactly what you're asking, but will be excited to do it. 100% recommend to every new puppy parent!

Great information
Awesome advice. We’ve recently bought a puppy and we aren’t very experienced with training them off-leash. We used some of the advice given in this book and we are getting alot better with calling our puppy back when we go for a walk. The narration was very clear and it was easy to follow along!
Although, I must add I would’ve preferred if the author attached the PDF so I was able to read along too.

Extremely useful for new dog owners
I bought this audiobook because last month I received a 2-month-old "white Swiss Shepherd" puppy from a breeder. After listening to the book I learned several strategies such as "recall" and "emergency stop". Now my puppy does the “sit", “stay" and “come" almost perfectly. I am very proud! Clearly, a book is not a substitute for a puppy class but it gives you the basics and helps you teach him the main commands. I am very satisfied, it is a short but concise audiobook.
