In this book, The Two Mr Ps will take you on a side-splittingly funny journey through the weird and wonderful world of primary schools. It will also explore the pressures of modern-day teaching, revealing exactly what it takes to wrangle a chaotic classroom (or seven) on a weekly basis. From the absolute characters found in the staffroom to school-trip mishaps and everything else inbetween, Put A Wet Paper Towel on It is a must-read for teachers and parents alike.

So sit up straight, four legs on your chair, fingers on lips and get ready to take a trip down memory lane. And remember – when in doubt, just put a wet paper towel on it.

Brilliant!

Great book covering all aspects of a primary school. Even if you are not in the profession, it will have you laughing along with the memories from your own time in primary school.

Must read for anyone who works in a school.

I laughed, got angry, felt hopeful. It was a rollercoaster! But the one thing I’ve taken from this book is that I’m not alone. Fantastic book truly written from experience.

Perfect for anyone in, or not in, education

A fun and honest view of working in schools, that will bring back happy memories for those not part of the educational world, and will make schools workers laugh at the crazy reality of it all. It also discusses the daily issues teaching staff face, and why huge numbers of teachers are leaving. Quite poignant, but annoyingly true. A fun and easy read (listen!)

True and Realistic

There might be some teachers who aren't too pleased about the lid being lifted off their secret world. There might be some parents who feign shock and outrage when listening to this but basically, if you know, you know. Lee & Adam don't exaggerate they just tell the truth about the job and the kids. It's funny - very funny - because teaching is. It pulls no punches in places and I think it's right to do so - the reality of teaching is political, it is shocking and it doesn't get fair representation in the media.
It's hard to pick a favourite bit because there were so many. Definitely read or listen to this for a whole new take on Michael Jackson, higlighters and sports day. Thank you Lee & Adam you deserve all your success.
