Brilliant.
A really motivating book. It punches through the jargon with clear explanations, facts, figures, case studies and practical advice. I like that the story is tightly told with no waffle and no wasted words. It’s like the best set of notes you could take from a year in the classroom.

Really helpful overview for female entrepreneurs
I found Julia's book really helpful, accessible and applicable. She empowers her readers with the information required to understand and navigate the scary world of fundraising, backed up by mindset management, and a vision of where the business can go and what it can stand for that withstands self- and external criticism. Practical and powerful - a book all female founders need!
This book is super practical, going through fundraising stage by stage with sound advice from one of the best female entrepreneurship commentators around.
Loved the case studies, the experiences and the evidence all in one book.
Definitely recommend this to any woman looking to successfully complete a raise.
