Summary
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Ralph's Party, by Lisa Jewell, read by Imogen Church.
The smash-hit best seller from the author of The Girls and Then She Was Gone.
Six people, one big house and the party that brings it all down...
Ralph and Smith are flatmates and best mates. Nothing can come between them - until the gorgeous Jemima moves in. They're both falling for her, but which one of them does Jem want?
Upstairs, Karl and Siobhan are happily unmarried and have been for 15 years - until Cheri moves into the flat above and fixes her sights on Karl. Why should a little problem like his girlfriend get in her way?
Sooner or later this house is bound to implode.
So what could possibly go wrong when Ralph throws his party?

Bit dull and slow moving
I brought this book not realizing that it was Lisa Jewell's first book and she has clearly moved on since then. Whilst it was well written it just had no substance and crawled along at a snails pace. Not really much else to say as Lisa has written so many much better books sine this.

Another lovely book by Lisa Jewell
A nice easy listen but with enough substance to make me want to continue each evening.
Not as dark or shocking as some of her others books but a lovely listen with good narration. I also enjoyed the 2nd book which gave us more insight into the 2 of the main characters and how their lives played out.
I’m sad that I’m now running out of her books to listen to 😢

Relatable to when I was younger
I loved this book, its basically a trip through someone's 20s and the trials and tribulations many people go through at this age! you feel sorry for characters that you probably shouldn't feel sorry for. cringeworthy moments that you feel like you're there watching 1st hand. funny romcom well worth a read!

Loved this.
Got off to a good start ( can't abide slow starts),
plenty going on but not the fashionable overkill of far too many twists. Highly amusing in parts.
Excellent characterisation by a superb narrator - best I've ever heard- she realistically bright the characters to life, some to hilarious effect.

The Narrator made it
This book was good but became brilliant by the talent of the Narrator. Comic moments where made laugh out load and the characterisation was seamless. I want to hear more books by this narrator she is a genius.

Enjoyed but ….
I was waiting for someone to die! The saw that this was her first book, and how Lisa Jewell has moved onto darker subject matter. Regardless I enjoyed the story, and the interconnected lives. Great narrative
