Great poems. Bad value for money.
These are super poems read wonderfully. But at £18 for 35 minutes it's very bad value. Should have been packaged with another book for this price/time.

A joyous treat for young and old
What a treat to have such accomplished actors read Roald Dahl. I had never read this as a child, but adulthood has not prevented me from delighting in these tales.
Do go on to listen to the other delightful Roald Dahl audiobooks that have recently been recorded by such a great cast as these.

Amazon Alexa suggested this after asking it to read me a story. Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed the narration and twists to the stories, I was absolutely shocked to discover that it was only 35 minutes long in total. Will never buy an audible book through my Alexa without checking online again!

Excellent but not suitable for children!
I got this to listen with my children. Though the narration was excellent, my 7 year old child was horrified (me too), after listening to Cinderella and Jack and the beanstalk. Cinderella has quite a few sexual innuendoes which I don't think suitable for 8-10. In addition, both stories have got quite a bit of violence (e.g. heads being chopped off, people being eaten). I do like Roald Dahl normally, but this is a bit much for children, perhaps worse than an actual book because these are so very well narrated they really drive the point through. I didn't listen to the rest.
