It was fascinating to learn so much about brain

This book captured my attention right from the start and I had a hard time putting it down.This book is extremely helpful in understanding The neurological underpinnings of some of the wise practices we are encouraged to embrace.

Clever but approachable , a necessity

A necessity for modern day happiness. Fantastically simple and engaging, you are able to view your own behaviour with objectivity and therefore monitor your own behaviour and thinking because of this.

I love that this book explained

I love that this book explained where my anxiety is coming from. Mine is amygdala-based. I'm really excited to start working on my social anxiety. I recommend this book for anybody struggling with anxiety. No matter what kind it is.

Concrete steps to take to unlearn bad habits and rewire new. What fires together wires together. Good sections on self-hate and depression. Compassionate self-inquire. The undertow effect that pulls us back into bad habits.

Very detailed, clear, effective and helpful

I gained a lot of useful insights and processes
