story that gets better and better!

firstly I want to say that this feels like the biggest bargain deal I've ever getting. 1 credit for all of these books is AMAZING! I often find that when I buy a collection of books that most are ok books but can be abit repetitive. This collection actually got better and better as each book progressed. The first book was great and by the last book it was brilliant. I felt the narrator also got better with the books too, she didn't change as such but you got comfortable with Max and the tone of voice, humor and sarcasm. The narrator along deserves 5 starts for performance. Looking at how many hours are in this collection, you'd think you'd get chapters that were boring but every hour listening was good. I have listened to hundreds of books and this will be one of my few "keep" books and will probably be in my top 3 for a very long time now. I'm a bit sad it's finished, but I like how the ending wrapped everything up and ended on a positive. I usually try and keep things positive when doing a review but also stay honest and will add the negatives in as kindly as possible. I cant think of any negatives with this book. it was a easy listen but one that didn't get boring. It wasn't full of smutty stuff when it was romantic. It had a good mix of emotions, romance, action and "what happens next?" to it. I enjoyed the sarcasm of Max but if that's not your cup of tea, you'll probably not like it. Max was a strong female lead but not to the point where she didn't need help. She was confident in herself but at times was full of self doubt. she was a believable person, although the story is all about make believe and fantasy. Yeah, it was a story that I enjoyed all the way through and will recommend highly along with the narrator. I'm off to search for books by the writer or the narrator for future listening now. Thank you.

Love that it's a complete series

Really enjoyed this series and it was well worth the monthly payment.

You are led on a journey through many worlds and it works well.

Narration was done well as there were many characters in this series.

Always listen to the sample to see if the voice is pleasant to listen to in your opinion.

absolutely amazing book!

one of the best books I've ever listened to! fab characters and sassy as hell heroine. I was so sad when the series was over! on to the authors next series!!!
