Summary

He was my enemy, and I was his obsession.

I wasn’t the sort of girl who believed in fairy tales, let alone tales about Faeries. But that changed the day Faeries came to my small town and Hunters rose from their graves.

On that fateful day, I received a book, a peculiar collection of myths and legends. Turns out, it was so much more than stories. And just as I was on the verge of unlocking its secrets, it was stolen from me by someone I called a friend.

Now, I don’t know who to turn to or who to trust. All I know is that there are two sides, and I am straddling the great divide because I am both Faerie and Hunter.

And although I swore I would never choose, I am slowly falling for one of those sides.

Scroll up and one click today to start listening to this paranormal adventure that listeners are comparing to The Vampire Diaries, but with faeries.

An exciting sequel!

Firstly, thank you so much to Olivia Wildenstein for the free audio copy of this book!

I loved the revised version of Rose Petal Graves so I was very eager to read the revised second book. Rowan Wood Legends is a very exciting sequel and is even better than book one! I loved the romance, the suspense and the mystery. The Lost Clan series has such a wonderfully magical atmosphere and I absolutely adore Olivia Wildenstein's unique take on faeries.

The audio narration was perfect and Kasi Hollowell was the perfect choice to narrate this series. I absolutely loved listening to the audiobook and an excited to listen to the revised version of Rising Silver Mist.

Another great listen from fantastic narrators!

Rowan Wood Legends is the second instalment in Cat story and things are really starting to heat up. Secrets are revealed that shock our heroine to the core, she gets more tangled up in the Fae worlds and unexpected events keep coming putting her on an emotional rollercoaster. I really felt for Cat wanting to crawl into the story and help her. She is an amazing main female character, strong, fierce, loyal and she knows her own mind. Though I admire her strong mind and stubbornness it gets her in trouble slightly

Being half-human and half -hunter she is struggling with both sides of who she is. On both sides are people that she begins to get closer too and as more secrets are revealed. Cat is desperate for the truth and more answers about who she is and whats she's capable off. She goes looking for answers about her family.

Cat and Ace begin to grow closer which was something I hadn't been expecting. Olivia has a knack for making you want heroine and the first man to appear, Cruz. Then change it so that the actual person she ends up with is the second one you cursed out for ruining their budding romance by inserting themselves. However, after getting to know Ace more I think he is more perfect for her. In fact, Cat begins to realise that she's had arrogant, infuriating, sexy Ace Wood, Prince of Nevarah wrong all along.

Kajika's character changes and becomes more negative as he allows his prejudices and hatred towards the fae impact his friendship with Cat. He says some awful things to her that only further pushes her away towards the Fae which is just as dangerous.

I simply adore the world that Olivia has created even though in the beginning I couldn't see how it all linked together I trusted her and the mythology she incorporates is incredibly detailed. The world she has built is so. The only thing I regret is that her stories are so addictive that I end up not being able to do literally anything until I have consumed it entirely because this then makes me sad that there is no more.

And I just have to gush again about Kasi Hollowell and Tim Campbell they are a great fit together and it was so amazing listening to them both together.
