"Audio Page Turner"
If you could sum up Secrets of Death in three words, what would they be?
Familiar Riveting Suspense
What other book might you compare Secrets of Death to, and why?
I'd compare it to Corpse Bridge, because the same bridge is mentioned & Cooper & Fry still work in different cities but come together & help one another to solve this mystery thriller.
Have you listened to any of Mike Rogers’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Not heard his other performances, but in this one he was really good and kept you hooked and interested. Expressive and not monotone in the least.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Fry revisits E-division & helps investigate a "suicide epidemic" stretching a wide distance.
Any additional comments?
the story line Keeps you hooked and in suspense wondering until the end,I do wish that Fry returned to Edendale's E-division permanently.

Particularly unusual storyline!
Rather disturbing in parts but very inventive and leaves me wanting a speedy release of the next instalment!

First class narration
Would you listen to Secrets of Death again? Why?
Possibly. There are very few books that I would read or listen to more than once, but this may be one of the exceptions. The narrator brings the characters to life with perfection and has the most wonderful voice to listen to.
Any additional comments?
I always enjoy Stephen Booth books, but this is the first one I have had on audiobook, I was a bit unsure about having someone else read the book to me but I am pleased to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and listened to the whole book over a course of three days and really had to force myself to stop or I would have completed the whole book over one night. I have to say Mike Rogers is by far one of the best readers I have come across the characters are easy to recognise when he does the spoken parts which he does without forcing accents or male/female voices and still makes the whole drama come to life. I will definitely be searching for more of his work.
