Brilliant Romance and Thriller
This book was surprisingly goodgood, really good. It starts off with a somewhat predictable romance storyline but because it factors in real life issues faced by immigrants, ADHD sufferers, females in the work place all struggling to fit in and get ahead in life. It then doubles into a dramatic edgey thriller that's full of unpredictable twists with the potential to destroy families, friendships, careers and. the rare opportunities at love. The book is well written and engaging throughout. The narrator also delivers superbly in most instances except with respect to the southern belle accent of Lilly. All in all, I found myself using every opportunity to listen to the book and felt that it was worth the credit and time!!

Not his best
Being a big Nicholas Sparks fan I expected a lot more from this book. First of all the performance was very poor, I needed a good few chapters to get used to it. The story wasn’t my favourite either, many times I found myself frustrated with the characters. It wasn’t like a typical Nicholas Sparks story 🙁

Enjoyed!
This was my first Nicholas Sparks audible book after having watched most of the films based on his books. I thoroughly enjoyed the story although found it a bit tense at times, not ideal just before bed! The narrator was good, albeit some of the female characters were a bit excruciating at times, particularly Lily! Overall really enjoyed it and have just downloaded my next Nicholas Sparks book.

Loved it
The story is good of course, it's Nicholas Sparks. Been a while since I read one of his books and this has inspired me to take them up again.
Narration was pretty good too, although some of the female characterisations sounded a bit like Kermit the frog, but that was amusing rather than irritating.

MMA Hero & Psychiatrist Criminal
With an MNA hero and the psychiatrist as the master villain, this story really resonated, like looking in the mirror.

Exciting fiction at its best
Surely one of the best fiction writers I have had the nerve-tingling pleasure to read. Brilliantly conceived story. Excellent narration.
