True Crime and More!
Riveting! This book gave me chills (which is a good thing). I have always been fascinated by law and order, and this book gives me a great assessment of the works of law enforcement in keeping the peace. Also, I got enough details and background on the most notorious serial killers, their strategy, victims and their end.

Loved the book!
I loved the book, it was an easy listen aside from the narrators mispronunciation of names.

Encyclopedia with fascinating facts
This is a brilliant book. Alphabetically ordered, each serial killer is profiled—with a listing of their victims, method of killing, and the eventual outcome for the killer. I was prepared for a very dry book, but it isn’t. Each murderer is presented with their background. Interestingly, some had very troubled childhoods while others were raised with very normal families. The author doesn’t draw any conclusions, but consistently, there were red flags in these men’s pasts. And yes, there are women, but their numbers are very small.Kevin Kollins is the perfect narrator for this book. He has a deep and resonant voice, with the appropriate gravitas for the subject matter. My fear was that he might be monotonous, so I was happy that this was not the case. His pronunciation and enunciation is very good, making the book interesting to listen to.

A real thriller
This audiobook is as captivating as it is chilling. But then, the stories of serial killers are usually of that sort. This book details the profile of some of the most notorious predatory humans, their activities, victims, lair/tactics, etc. Be sure, the stories here are not for the faint-hearted.

Learned A Lot
I learned about some crime stories I was unaware of and details of some others. I feel it is a thorough book. I did find the reading a bit stilted at times, almost as if a computer were reading it. But it is a non-fiction book so it didn’t detract much.

Pretty Good
This was a really good encyclopedia concerning serial killers. I really liked that it branched out from the US and dealt with cases from around the world, and that it talked about cases that aren't known by the wider public instead of just focusing on serial killers that people have heard of, such as Jeffrey Dahmer or Fred and Rosemary West. It was pretty cool in that it also focused on female serial killers as well, such as the woman who poisoned her stepchildren with acid. Each chapter is quite small, so it's not massively detailed, but it does have a quick overview of each victim, their childhood, how they killed, their victims, the timeline of events and their capture/imprisonment and death, if applicable.

Excellent details
This book doesn't only provide readers with the story of these serial killers, but it also give a good detail on their lives and their actions. The mind of a serial killer... it also presents a need to appreciate the works of law of enforcement. This is a good book, well-written, great narration, and worth the time (and money).
