Not Bad

This is quite a decent audiobook full of short horror stories. This is the 2nd / 3rd time listening to this genre and found it entertaining. The narration was good enough from start to finish.

Recommend for those seeking a creepy/dark listen without the commitment of a full book!

I wouldn’t say this is a “scary” collection but I enjoyed the stories. Some really good and others not so interesting, but overall worth a listen.

Really liked the way the narrator uses different voices for different characters, really added to each story and made it easy to follow.

Engaging

Although I am not all that fond of reading horror stories at the present time, the reader's voice held my attention and I found I was pulled into the story. from the start. The pronunciation of words and the reading of the story itself were clear and therefore easy to follow. It was pitched at the right level and held my interest. In Collection 2, listening to the "ghost" story I was kept literally on the edge of my seat! The thing I thought worked very well was the use by the narrator of a number of different kinds of accents for the various stories. I liked some stories better than others e.g. I particularly liked the one about the old lady called "Meredith" but they were all excellently narrated.
