Useful, Insightful, Necessary

After crossing the 50 mark, I took it upon myself to learn new ways for taking care of my health, including diet, especially when my body doesn't quite keep up like it used to. My brother recommended Shredded Secrets, and I decided to buy the audio version as I have some downtime. What a great decision! This book covers nutritional info I had no idea existed, info that quite frankly could have still applied to me before I hit 50. The diet plan was great, and supplements my exercise routine fantastically. After following, I've already lost a significant amount of weight, and feel like I have more energy than before.

The narrator is even toned and easy to understand, without droning on on a particular subject, and delivers the content engagingly and punctually. For anyone looking for a valuable diet plan with nutritional insights relevant for those passed 50, I would definitely recommend this title!

Simple to follow and to implement

This book is well researched and gives easy to follow steps to really help you with your nutrition plan. I really appreciate how this book emphasizes that 80% of muscle building happens in the kitchen and mostly talks about when to eat, what to eat, and why to eat it. The training wisdom that you will find in the book provides good information as well, but the book is primarily focused on nutrition. Overall, this is a good book and one that I recommend if you’re interested in bodybuilding, muscle building and weight loss with solid information and good advice.

Better than dry chicken and broccoli

Bodybuilding nutrition is usually bland, tasteless tiny meals. So tiny that you find yourself eating and preparing food as a full time job. Well it doesn't have to be that way, because with this book you'll learn some useful tips and tricks for losing weight and staying lean without becoming a slave to food.

Absolutely brilliant!

I am not a fitness expert by any means. I have though, unknowingly practiced many of said methods to surprising success. My guesswork receiving confirmation by a expert is a extra win in purchasing this book

General overview

This is a good general overview of how to build muscle. It’s not specific to those over 50. I didn’t really learn anything new, but it provides info in a short guide. Narration was fine, no complaints.

An excellent approach

The guidance and advice in this book is definitely valuable! there are so many myths that I had believed for so long which were cleared up and corrected! As we age, it becomes increasingly important to look after our health and keep a close eye on our diet. Therefore, I think that this audiobook serves as a perfect tool for those who are looking to maintain/improve their health as they reach their 50s. Definitely recommended!

Interesting guide on Nutrition

I came across this audiobook “Shredded Secrets: 7 Cutting Edge Nutrition Secrets You Need Even If You Are over 50 - The Bodybuilding Diet Plan for Men and Women“, which is great because learning more about nutrition was something that I wanted. With this audiobook I am able to discover ways on how to become a better with my diet. The lesson on where to get proper nutrition sources is one that stood out to me. Lots of value on the subject matter. Recommended listen.

Another amazing book from Rex Bonds!

I am so happy that I took the time to listen to this book. It has all the nutrition advice that I wanted from an audiobook. I think I am going to check out the rest of Rex's books because this one KILLED IT. I am not even going to bother looking for fitness advice from anyone else because for once I feel like I can actually relate to his story. He is different from most fitness coaches.

Perfect gift for my dad

I got this book for my dad to help him build more muscles. He is not interested in aggressive bodybuilding, just wanting to get stronger. I think at the age of 50 and above, muscle strength and flexibility are important in maintaining physical health. Back pain and knee pain sometimes can be alleviated with stronger back and core and stronger lower body muscles, respectively. Though this book is targeting for bodybuilding, I think anyone who wants to build more muscles through nutrition and workout can benefit from this. My dad likes that the science behind muscle growth and nutrition were explained in simple terms, making the concepts very easy to understand.
