Summary

An Alpha Legion Audiobook

On a world that is home to a unique artefact, bands of Chaos Space Marines battle for the right to claim it. But the arrival of the infamous Khârn the Betrayer changes the balance of power…

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

The forces of Chaos fight amongst themselves, with the Blood God's chosen warrior slap bang in the middle. It’s probably not going to end well for anyone whose name isn't Khârn…

THE STORY

Upon the oceanic hive world of Tsadrekha, the darkness of the Noctis Aeterna is held at bay by the golden light of a unique beacon. Yet, as sharks are drawn to blood, so the ravening warbands of the Heretic Astartes circle the planet, warring to claim this rich prize for their Dark Gods. Now, one of those warlords has deployed a secret weapon to end the deadlock.

Kassar and his elite band of Alpha Legionaries, the Unsung, must infiltrate the planet, using all their cunning and warrior skills to overcome the planet's defenders and corrupt the beacon. They need to work fast, for none other than Khârn the Betrayer himself has come to lead the final assault. As a rising tide of apocalyptic warfare consumes Tsadrekha, Kassar and his brothers must race for the prize or be consumed by the fury of the storm.

this narrator is absolutely horrendous.

the book in an of itself is ok some enjoyable parts but the voice actor is absolutely shocking every book he as read he does this stupid breathless voice with an infection at the end making everything sound like a question, I forced myself through this one but the others I turned off halfway through, black library/gw please stop using this guy he's unbearable.

For the Primarchs! For the Harrow!

Great story, superb narration
Too much Emperors children for my taste and not enough Kharn but plenty of alpha legion

Good story

An enternaing story, well read, though the voices didn't always match how I expected them to sound. Above average warhammer novel.

the balance between the Alpha legion team

great insight into a faction far too undeserved in the lore. Great to see another view into the traitor mindset.

Pure Alpha Legion brilliance!

Was waiting a while for this title to be made into a audiobook and it was worth the wait! The voice artist was perfect and his performance was brilliant. The Story itself was absolute 40k at its peak with many known characters and more new ones I hope to hear from again.

I am Alpharius.

A good book all in all.

Been a while since a new book from black library gripped me from start to end. Think I chewed through this in under three days much to my co workers annoyance 😂😂.

Worth a listen. Not perfect but by far not bad.

The Alpha legion was well used in this. Not too overly silly when it comes to them.

Cassar they have an angle this is getting ridiculous

The constant stakes and the tactics used in the small group to achieve the goal at hand

One of the best alpha legion stores in a long time

Did you like the Primarch book about Alpharius? Then you will most surely like this as well.

no plots in plots

Alpha legion just being elite marines for once.

shame about the imperial fists but they went out well.

ending is sort of predictable but with a worse case twist.

would have been nice to have a bit more planning around the baggage since it should not have been the last minute question, but better than most alpha legion tales
