About this listen
When Spice asks Kyson Silver to fake a relationship with him, Silver agrees. He knows pretending to be involved with the older man will likely come back to bite him in the ass, but if the farce will help Spice and his young son, Silver is totally on board.
All too soon, the consequences of the fake relationship weigh on both Silver and Spice. Will a meddling grandmother, an adorable little boy, and a team of friends be enough to convince Silver and Spice to give a real relationship a shot?
Silver & Spice is a steamy, slow-burn M/M age-gap, fake-relationship, forced-proximity romance with a silver fox, a single daddy, and a younger man ready for a family.
This is the third book in the Silver in the City series. Each book focuses on a different couple.

A good end to a great series!
Silver & Spice was a great story when I read it and I enjoyed it just as much, maybe even a little more, listening to the great audio performance by Michael Stone.
This is book three in the Silver in the City series and I think it's my favorite. Having read (and listened to) the series in order, we've been seeing Kyson and Bay dance around each other and the end of book two left us with a pretty big cliffhanger that is resolved in this book. Bay, who recently became a father to his nephew after his sister died, has been fighting his attraction to Kyson. Kyson is several years younger than Bay and Bay doesn't think it's fair to saddle the younger man with a child so early in his life. This is another seriously steamy book. Kyson likes to talk dirty in the bedroom and Bay loves to hear it.
I love how Bay's grandmother helped force these two to talk and resolve the issues that were causing Bay to keep them apart. There are some really funny scenes in this story involving Grandma Millie and a dildo. I'm not saying anything more.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.

Silver and Spice and Everything Nice
Silver and Spice is the last book in the Silver in the City series. The first two books should be read first before this one. Book 2 had ended on a little bit of a cliff hanger that goes right into book 3.
The tropes for this romance are age gap, forced-proximity, fake-relationship, and ready-made family. The plot does a really good job of fleshing out these tropes and creating an exciting story. Kyson Silver has been crushing on Bay since the moment he met him. The feeling is mutual, but Bay has his doubts about starting anything romantic with Kyson; first, Bay is a dad and finding someone willing to step up and take on the responsibility that comes with child is hard, and second, Bay is significantly older than Kyson. It takes the meddling of Bay’s grandmother to finally force these two men to take the first steps towards their own happily ever after. And it takes her continued meddling to keep them together and not let their own insecurities ruin their chances of a happy ever after.
The audiobook was narrated by Michael Stone. He has a smooth voice with a steady rhythm. There isn’t a lot of different character voices, but he keeps each person distinct and it was easy to follow along with the audiobook. There was a lot of drama in this book and Michael Stone made sure to add the right inflections to help emphasize the dramatic moments as appropriate. The overall production of the audiobook was well done.

as good as the ebook
The story is always 4-5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B
