It's specifically tailored to youth but the wisdom and guidance is useful for all - it covers Banking best practices, the importance of having good credit and how to build good credit, the art of budgeting through college and beyond, how to save on big expenses like cars and homes, how to prepare for retirement, how to future proof your finances, how to build passive income, and a whole lot more.

Take this to the bank!
What a great, easy-to-read guide and financial fundamentals. This book tells us what we mostly already know and have come to learn, but it presents the daunting topics of financial planning and money management in a fun and simple manner. I wish I listened to this book when I was in my early teens--I would have been way ahead of the game! This is a highly recommended book for your kids, so that they start building the right habits immediately! Well done Amy!

I wish I had this book when I was a teenager...
“Smart Money” would be a great book for teenagers and college-aged young adults. This is stuff
you don’t typically learn in school, but is so valuable for kids growing up who want to have a
secure financial future and the ability to achieve their dreams, whether that’s a new car, a home
or launch a business as an entrepreneur. Though money management certainly can be
complicated, intimidating and challenging, “Smart Money” takes you through the steps, from
busting money myths, to the importance of budgeting, to affording college without the weight of
‘never-pay-off’ student loans, to strategies for making money and investing, and how to set up a
secure financial future. I thought selecting a narrator with a youthful voice added credibility - that
the author understands the stage of life that young adults are in and the multitude of choices
they are confronted with, all while emphasizing how essential it is for them to understand the
basics of good financial management. Recommended reading for young adults!
