Summary

The galaxy just called for help. Unfortunately, the wrong man answered.

When small-time con man Cal Carver is thrown in jail and forced to share a cell with a semi-naked, cannibalistic serial killer, he's pretty sure his day can't get any worse. Boy, is he wrong. It isn't until two-thirds of the human race is wiped out and Cal is mistakenly abducted by aliens that things really start to go downhill.

Whisked across the galaxy, Cal is forced into a team of some of the sector's most notorious villains and scumbags and tasked with delivering a package to a warlord-run solar system where the authorities daren't venture. The mission should be simple enough, but as one screwup leads to another the ragtag group of unwitting heroes find themselves in a frantic battle to save an entire alien civilization - and its god - from total annihilation.

Performed by Phil Thron, Danny Gavigan, Carolyn Kashner, Darius Johnson, Yasmin Tuazon, Bradley Smith, Henry W. Kramer, Eric Messner, Terence Aselford, Alejandro Ruiz, Jacob Yeh, Nanette Savard, Chris Genebach, Scott McCormick, Ken Jackson, Rose Elizabath Supan, Mort Shelby, Kimberly Gilbert, Laura C. Harris, Richard Rohan, Nora Achrati, Colleen Delany, David Zitney, and Michael John Casey.

just bloody brilliant!!!

I loved the original Books with just Phil Thron narrating but this dramatised version was equally as good. With all the hoffific scenes on TV and papers at the moment, this my escape. I highly recommend

Awesome, amazing, gorgeous : )

I love this so much, it's exactly my type of thing: Space, adventure, comedy, a great team. Really loving this version too with the part-narration, part character performance - that's so cool. This is a really fun story and excellently performed. Perfect sound effects and music too. Also the whole thing is really high quality sounding. Wish it was longer 'cos it's so enjoyable! Looking forward to when I can get the next one :) I'm listening again already even though I only just finished.
Summary: Funkin' awesome *double thumbs up*

Space adventurous comedy

A group of misfits is assembled into a spaceship crew to carry out a mission to stop a deadly virus from spreading through the galaxy. The idea is not new and you know what is coming, but the dialogues are super funny. The graphic audio version is amazing! If you like "Nuclear Bombshell" you'll probably enjoy this one too.

Highly recommended! =D

A really well written and funny book.
This dramatization version is funny and just a fanking good listen! ;-) the main character was awesomely performed.
Even though the book is short, it was definitely worth the credit. I'm off to buy the next one right now. I'm an 31y old man-child btw. (in case you need a small point of reference)😝
have an amazing day folks!

Awesome!

As good as this is (5 stars) I still prefer Phil Thron’s original version, however, still worth buying as the story is awesome!
