About this listen
Includes all new songs and music. Written by Carrie Ann Ryan and sung by Meg Sylvan
The Wilder Brothers from New York Times best-selling author Carrie Ann Ryan continues with a secret romance that East and Lark never saw coming.
The world thinks I only write songs about my ex-boyfriends.
They study each lyric to point a finger at which man broke my heart—even if I’ve never met him.
Only the man I refuse to write about is the one who is so tangled in my mind that I know I can never be with him.
I had one night with East Wilder, and I know that’s all there will ever be.
He broke my heart without even trying.
Yet now I can’t seem to write a single verse, and I need a place to hide while I figure out who I am. The Wilder Retreat will have to be my refuge as the Wilders prepare for my best friend’s wedding.
And when I’m there, I refuse to fall for East again.
Even if the dark shadows in his eyes draw me in and the dangers of his past might be the one thing that forces us to finally give in.

Wow
I swear I just started reading this and it was already over, it was so good. The characters were wonderfully written and I loved the realism of the emotions that the main characters have. Their struggles and their triumphs as well as their lows. With each new chapter this one brought me further under Carrie Ann Ryans spell.
This is a bring tissues masterpiece it was absolutely amazing.

Fantastic
This is the next book in the world a series by Carrie Ann Ryan. This book is a little bit different as this one has Singing lyrics that Carrie Ann Ryan has written for the story because lark is the singer and songwriter definitely change the tone of the story a little bit, I think and makes it a little bit more personal for the main character.
East Wilder is a bit of a tougher characters in the series and don’t think I’ve dealt with his PTSD well which affects his relationship with Lark.
Really in joyed this audiobook the narrators are absolute fantastic which you’ll find with all Carrie Ann Ryan books. She always picks the best. Can’t believe how many of her books I’ve read first started off with the Redwood Park which I highly recommend because it is fantastic but also all her books are amazing in every genre.

Lark and East 💕
This is a complicated couple. Lark comes to the resort when she can. She is a popular singer/songwriter who everyone thinks writes about her romances. East is the super brooding brother who thinks he is invisible. But Lark sees him. The drama is that he talks before he thinks and that hurts Lark. I enjoy the romance because their struggle seems so real. It’s a great addition to the series. Love the narration too.

Wonderful Listen!
Audio Review
4.5 Stars
This was an enjoyable listen and a great addition to the Wilder Brother Series. East has been an intriguing character throughout this series, and I wanted to know more about him! He is dealing with PTSD stemming from his military days, often grumpy, and dealing with feelings of not being as important as his siblings. Lark is a famous pop-rock singer who writes beautiful songs that become a buzz in the media with assumptions of who and/or what they are written about.
East and Lark had a unique arrangement with a touch of enemies with benefits. The push and pull between them kept me engaged with the story and they had plenty of banter. Their explosive chemistry could be felt off the page and as their relationship progressed. The Wilder brothers and sister have a great family dynamic and I love their relationship as a whole and with each other. Another great listen from Carrie Ann Ryan!
Narrated by Aiden Snow and Meg Sylvan - this was the perfect pairing for this couple! I really adored Meg's singing at the beginning of Lark's chapters and just added an extra layer to the audiobook and Lark's character.

when your love is literally the lyrics
Im with Lark, armadillos are as scary as snakes
And yeah don't even start on the turtles! Opossums all the way (doesn't matter as I live in the UK but my allegiance is with them lol)
Lark and East are beyond perfect for each other - if only they can work out their difference of opinions, and if the media can leave them alone for 5 mins - then they can talk with their bodies, they're great at that and shouting at each other lol.
I devoured this book like it was a fine patisserie - loved the story arc and the character growth. Once again I needed tissues, Ms Ryan certainly knows how to yank these emotions out of me.
These Wilder brother romances keep getting better and better and I love each brother and his story and I am eager to find out what happens to the last man standing Elliot, I am positive it will be amazing - but worry not, we have cousins waiting in the wings for us to meet ❤️

I love these Wilder men.
East Wilder is a total grump but, with good reason. His soon-to-be sister in law's best friend, Lark is a temptation that he can't, and doesn't, resist.
As an accomplished singer songwriter, Lark has media attention that she'd rather not have, and stories abound about her loves and losses...or so they claim!
A fledgling relationship with East is difficult to keep under wraps both from his family and the visitors to the East family's business.
All that whilst supporting East through some traumatic episodes of PTSD is guaranteed to create pressure beyond measure.
Needlessti say though, love triumphs, even after some scary moments and this couple bask in their HEA
Side note...
We are graced with song lyrics written by Ms Ryan(as Lark) and what a great job she did!
