Summary

Getting stuck in a big black cloud of despair and hopelessness where you feel isolated and lonely can seem eternal if not terminal. You have no energy and you've lost interest in everything, even life itself sometimes. You want to find a cure and you've tried everything but nothing works. You just can't find the way out. But it doesn't have to be like that.

In this inspiring, breakthrough book the myths around depression are exposed, the truth is uncovered and exactly how you can beat depression step by step is revealed.

This book will change how you think about depression and give you new hope and energy to break free of it forever.

As a professional who has helped hundreds of people with depression, and as someone who has had a brush with depression, the author understands how hard having depression is.

Extremely useful - this helped me a Lot

Where does Stepping Out of the Cloud rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Far better than many of this type.
Emma keeps it sort and to the point. The information and advice is sound, I can accept the occasional uncomfortable truth, I like the fact that it has empowered me to make the changes I need (or helped me to see that I am empowered to do so).
The author has experienced what she is talking about - she actually has a very similar background to my own in terms of work and the whole Crash & Burn thing, and so I can trust what she says and having followed up on the information, I can confirm that this has had - and continues to have - a profound and ongoing positive effect upon my life.
