Summary

"Stolen Lies is absolute vindication. It’s everything the reader needs it to be. It is answers. It is redemption. It is freedom. And of course, it is dark love that knows no bounds." (Becky, Sweet Spot Sisterhood Blog)

From USA Today best-selling author K Webster and Nikki Ash comes Stolen Lies: a romantic suspense.

My life was brutal, horrific, ruthless.
Dark.
Until a beautiful bride was dragged into my life.
I took her as my prize and made her mine.
Vengeance never tasted so sweet.
I see her truths every day, and it's hard not to fall for a woman who makes me weak.
She can try to run, but I have no intention of ever letting her go.
I wanted to marry for hate, but it looks like hate is a lie.

Stolen Lies is the gripping conclusion in the Truths and Lies Duet.

What a wild ride!

After listening to Hidden Truths, I couldn't wait for this conclusion! Picking up where we left off, things are about to get worse! Thalia is missing, and Kostas is going crazy. It's been a year and he still has no idea where she is. Thalia is not as far away as he thinks and her will to get free is strong! Nikki Ash and K Webster weave an amazing conclusion to this romantic suspense. A little mafia, a lot of lies, family dissension, and a love that pulls it all together. Kostas is strong, passionate and will do anything to keep his wife safe. He knows what he needs to do and I love how despite his emotional drive, he gets it done. Thalia is so strong! She has a reason to live and her love pulls her through. Add in Selena and Aris, and this story has the villains we all love to hate. If you love a good, romantic suspense, this duet is just what you are looking for.

Sarah Puckett and Jeffrey Holz end the duet with a fantastic performance. Puckett continues her role as Thalia, strong and loving. Her voice holds a confidence despite the fear she has. I love it! Kostas comes through as the dark, alpha protector and Holz delivers. These two made this listen so good, it's one you do not want to miss!

Dark and intriguingly amazing

First, I love the name Talia. This book was gripping, fun, deliciously dark, and everything in between. The narrators were amazing and did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to reality. The conclusion to the duet was more than I expected and I highly enjoyed listening.

What a conclusion

This picks up a year after the explosive events at the end of Hidden Truths. Kostas is not handling things well and when he finally gets through the fog, he knows the only important thing is finding Thalia. I enjoyed them together a lot, it's kinda perfect when the battle hardened one is only soft for their one and only.

Talia and Kostas!

I really enjoyed book one and could not wait for the conclusion. Having said that, I feel like it wasn't quite what I was hoping for. I liked Kostas in the first book, but struggled a little more with his character in this book. I definitely was not a fan of Aris. This book was action packed and kept me invested the whole time as I was desperately rooting for Talia and Kostas to get their happily ever after. I did feel like there were a lot of questions that were never really resolved at the end of the story, particulary around Selene and Aris.

I think Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett were truly fantastic with the narration of this story. They brought forth all the complicated emotions of this intense story. They were both highly enjoyable to listen to and I would definitely recommend them. #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFlock

Captivating Tale!

Stolen Lies, the second book in the Truth ad lies duet, is brilliantly written and an outstanding collaboration between two talented authors, Nikki Ash and K Webster. Each adds their distinctive style to the plot and phenomenal character development, making the story absolutely riveting. Seriously, I couldn't get enough. Once again, I was completely captivated by Kostas, he is flawed, broken, dangerous, dark, and so magnetic. Still yearning for his missing wife Talia, the love of his life, he drowns himself in grief, anger, and denial. After deciding to sober up and search for Talia, he uncovers the layers of hidden truths and deception. Their story is utterly engrossing, jam-packed with secrets, lies, suspense, action, violence, unexpected twists, explosive passion, and steam. The ending was great; I felt completely satisfied.

Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett did an unbelievable job with the narration, capturing the nuances of the characters' personalities, emotions, and connections flawlessly. They breathed life into the written words and made it even more engaging. Stolen Lies is a well-written mafia romance with amazing narration, one I highly enjoyed and recommend.

YES!!!

I had been desperately waiting for this audio and it was worth the wait!
All the unanswered questions get resolved. A few of them took me by surprise; others I was ecstatic to find out I had guessed correctly.
I may have changed my mind on mafia romances which I had been on the edge about.
This duet is everything.
Loved it!

My Thoughts on Stolen Lies

An excellent ending to a brilliantly laid out story by two amazing authors. That’s what I just listened to. I was excited to get the conclusion to this duet because book one was an entire emotional journey that left me hanging, as I knew it would. And I’ll admit, this book had me a little worried with the way it started, but I shouldn’t have. Because things quickly started coming together and forming into a story I didn’t want to put down until Talia and Kostas were reunited. And then once they were, I wanted to watch them get justice for what had been taken from them.
Sarah Puckett and Jeffrey Holz did an excellent job with the narration on this story. I enjoyed his accent and her emotion shown in all the right moments. Their performance just heightened my enjoyment of the story overall.

Captivating Mafia Listen

Stolen Lies is the epic ending to the Truth and Lies Duet.

Book one left us on a huge cliffhanger and book 2 picks right up with the story and packs in action, suspense, violence, and some steamy romance! Kostas has been looking for his wife, Talia for a year but unfortunately with his grief and no leads he has turned to alcohol. When he finally decides to sober up he starts finding things that don't add up that give him cause to look further at those closest to him.

Talia was a strong and feisty mafia queen and Kostas was violent yet soft and romantic towards Talia. This was a really great and captivating duet for those who enjoy mafia/crime/suspenseful listens.

Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett were amazing at narrating these characters and bringing me more into the story!

A Wild & Twisted Ride! Brilliant Story & Listen🎧

Nikki Ash and K. Webster continue to wow me with this mind-blowing finale to their “Truths and Lies Duet”. This book picks up where the first book ended, so if you have not read or listened to “Hidden Truths” what are you waiting for? That is where the story starts, it lays down the foundation for the duet and everything that took place in that book leads up to this mind blowing conclusion. Thalia had come to grips with her new life married to Kostas, but once again, the rug gets pulled out from under her and she becomes a pawn in Kostas’ brother’s sick game. Aris took so much from Talia, but he can not take her determination to survive and get her life back. Kostas’ life was spinning out of control, he lost everything when Talia left but he is not giving up on her. This dark and twisted, action-packed romantic suspense is brilliantly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense moments that brings you to the edge of your seat, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Nikki Ash and K. Webster, thank you for this wild and twisted ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Jeffry Holz and Sarah Puckett’s exceptional narration continues as they bring these characters and their story to life. They have a complete understanding of the characters they portray, give each a voice that is a perfect fit to that character’s persona, sounding believable in every role they play. Holz nails it as the mafia boss and Puckett takes Talia’s role up a notch with the confidence of the mafia queen she is. Both were great at performing the roles of the secondary and support characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance, having you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for the exceptional listen!
