About this listen
Eat, Pray, Love meets Bridget Jones when a chaotic mum-of-three decides there's more to life than Celebrity Sandcastles and embarks on a journey of self-discovery, leading to an unexpected reunion with old flame, Monsieur Hôtel, and his chiselled jaw. But will cherishing her chakras, clearing the clutter, and communing with angels be enough to heal the scars of her past? What happens when she doesn’t just see the light, but becomes it? And why is her bra full of stones?
This light-hearted debut novel with its colourful characters, culture clashes, and strange situations is the perfect antidote to the stresses of modern life.

Laughing down the M1!
The trip to and from Brighton was an utter joy accompanied by this book. It is at once moving and funny. The past juxtaposed with the present and the sense making of it all! I’m now planning another long journey in the car to listen again. Bravo, Judith!

A joy to listen to
The journey of the main character to discover the meaning of life whilst being a wife, a mother, having a middle life crisis, is a joy to listen too.
The author reads it using different accents and expressions for different characters which makes listening to this audiobook a very interesting and dinâmica experience. 5 stars for me!

Characters brought to life in engaging narration
Thoroughly enjoyable, witty and funny! The main heroine, a not so young mother of three, will not abandon hope to discover her own path to spiritual life. Is it through religion? Philosophy? Yoga? Music? Hypno-healing? However fantastical it gets, she goes for it ‘suspending her disbelief’. The vibrant characters from the heroine’s past and present are brought to life in this engaging narration.

Love, laughter and more
A funny and wry look at love, marriage, family and friends over several years.
The story will have you nodding in agreement with familiar themes in your own life and chuckling at the characters.
If you live in Sheffield, as I do, you will also enjoy the references to the city. The author has a tough job to narrate in various accents along the way but keeps you hooked with a story looking at if the grass really could have been any greener if only you’d made different choices.

A Gem of a Debut!
This book will take you travelling along with the story’s protagonist and delivered to destinations of the heart and soul.
A book to remind us that through the mundane we find the miracles and in the routine we can find radiance.
Full, vibrant characters, relatable situations and meltdowns enveloped in wit as sharp as Sheffield steel.
A debut novel that leaves you wanting to journey along with the lead in her Traffic Jam of Life.

Hilarious and heart-warming
A touching story of of a mum's search for self-enlightenment whilst juggling the demands of everyday life and family pressures. Hilarious in parts with gritty northern humour, yet full of poignant moments that deal with the human spirit and all its weaknesses and strengths.
The plot is intriguing and the quirky characters in the book kept me engaged to the end. I loved it! Now I just need a cup of tea and more flapjack please!
