Judith Watkins is a linguist, adventurer and suspender of disbelief. Her stories of student life in Cold-War-era Moscow, backpacking escapades in India, and mishaps as a tour guide have provided her with many a free dinner. Her dubious interpreting skills have caused diplomatic mayhem and she’s been involved in several near-death incidents. However, she still retains her sense of humour, despite having three children and a husband who rolls his eyes at her soul-searching. Judith has done a lot of inner work, which has led her into many strange situations full of both comedy and wisdom. When she’s not explaining the intricacies of the English language to foreign students, you can find her standing in tree pose, having a gong bath or writing fiction based on her experiences. Judith is writing a trilogy, ‘The Traffic Jam of Life’ and has just published her debut novel, 'Stones in my Bra'.
