About this listen
Storm
I hate myself more than she could ever hate me.
The day I betrayed the love of my life was the day I lived up to every messed-up thing my mother predicted.
But I'm tired of being broken. I'm tired of life not being worth living.
I never thought I'd get a chance to make amends, but here I am, ready to earn my woman's love back.
My road to recovery is ugly, and my road to redemption will be hard, but there is no Storm without his Keira.
It's time I prove that to her.
Storm is a standalone in A Dark & Dirty Sinners' MC Series.

Perspective, Forgiveness and Growing up!
I didn't really have any opinion on Storm before starting this book - just thought he was a ne'er-do-well who rested on his VP status which he didn't really execute to the best of his ability and a bit of Lothario.
Anyway, this book is very well written and finally shines some perspective on life not being all black/white in a relationship.
So many people throw away their best friend because of cheating without ever looking as to why it happened in the first place.
Both Keira and Storm are equally responsible for the failure of their marriage. Storm for being extremely withholding and self-deprecating and Keira, well, she seem a bit of a rose-tinted fool, which I'm sure we all were at some point in our youth, but not having made any efforts whatsoever to get to know her husband or his lifestyle at all, despite proclaiming loving him makes her a very self-absorb in my eyes - which I suppose her background taught her to be.
Anyway, from my perspective, if you truly love someone, you love the good, the bad and the ugly and try to understand, help and stand beside and behind them, which Storm does in his own crazy way. However, Keira continuously takes and takes, runs away when life isn't as she want it to be and when she doesn't get what she wants goes and sticks her head in the sand - and Storm allows her to do so and does similar things in a different way. There is so much lack of honest communication, a wonder they lasted so long in the first place.
Luckily both Storm and Keira grow up in this book. Better late than never!

Fabulous!
Serena Akeroyd is truly a fabulous author! I understand that she was nervous writing this book, but I am so glad she did. Storm is such a tortured soul, and yes, what he did was awful, but do we always want our heroes to be perfect? Considering this series is all about bikers, and that none of the male characters are ‘perfect’, means that to me, Storm deserved his book as much as the others in the series. This book is just so beautifully written, full of heartbreak, redemption, growth and love - it’s just as brilliant as the others in the series. The narration is fabulous too. Serena Akeroyd will always be one of my favourite authors and I will read anything she writes. I loved it and am waiting not so patiently for Rex to come out!

Beautiful story
Storm is a damaged but ultimately honest man. He puts Keira on a pedestal and sets their relationship up to fail by not being open early on. However their love is real and following an intervention by Rex, Keira starts to understand that she has been equally responsible. The ending is poignant and incredibly beautiful.

Amazing
I didn’t look forward to listening to this book as much as others in the series, but wow! It is by far the best! It is very engaging, emotional and honest. It is the best book I have listened to this year. 😊

Amazing
Serena knocked the ball out of the court once again. Yes, she warns of certain triggers at the start of the book, but my advice is that if you're worried about it, then don't listen. She handles things in an understanding and in-depth way whilst still giving us the love story of the century. Storm fighting his demons gives us an insight into what a lot of people in the world today are doing on a daily basis, but they still come through like him. Keira is a young nieve woman but becomes a strong person in her own right from the start of the story, although she doesn't see it. This is writing at its peak, and it's what Serena Akeroyd does best. Enjoy

Absolutely brilliant
Such an amazing book. Storm is a heartbreaking character with brutal beginnings. No one is harder on Storm than himself and you just want to give him a hug. Highly recommend this book.

Be still my heart… Oh Asher
I loved this series, when I first read it some time ago, but revisiting it on audiobooks has been even better. I’ve been waiting so long for this book, love or hate him Storm is an interesting and complex character and this book gave so much insight and depth into what makes him tick.
The story is really tough at times and both characters annoyed and shattered my heart.
The ending was so beautiful and sad, I wept and wept.
Thank you Serena for sharing this beautiful and timeless story with us ❤️
The narration was just wonderful and I really hope the wonderful Jason Clarke gets to narrate Rex’s book as there is no one I can imagine doing it better. I can’t wait for the next book , let’s hope it’s not too long in coming
