Summary

a great enemies to lovers story
Saint and Braxton don't get off on the best of footings and both are shocked when Braxton shows up for a job interview with Saint's lawyer firm. Grudgingly, Saint agrees to a trial period and as they begin to work together Braxton's misconceptions regarding Saint are challenged. There is also the inconvenience of the attraction they feel towards each other.
While this can be read as a standalone it is book 2 in this series. One of the things that I love most about this series is the way that the authors dovetail the beginning of each book into the end of the previous one.

Hang-Ups and Love
All the hang-ups=Brax and Saint, but especially Brax. Cue the enemies to lovers, poor-to-rich Brax despising the flashy, never-known-poverty Saint who feels like he doesn’t quite match up to his brother, the hilarious way Saint and Brax met, the boss/employee relationship, and the off-the-charts heat between the two, and you have a very satisfying listen where both men end up being better than you thought, though I kinda wanted to smack Brax a few times.
New-to-me narrator did a good job.
I received this ARC from GRR, but the opinions are all my own.

Overcoming misconceptions
I enjoyed the first book in this series and the teaser at the end ensured I would be back to read this entry. It did not disappoint. I enjoy seeing how romance authors ring their variations on the "meet cute" trope and having someone's car towed from being illegally parked in a handicapped parking space is a doozy. Having needed one of those spaces for a handicapped parent, I was cheering that action of Brax's and started the book with a slightly negative view of Saint. Like the first book, the initial impressions we have of the characters are not quite right and just as the characters in the story have to find out about each other and correct their misperceptions, we as the reader have to do that as well. I really like a book that can take me from being sceptical about a character - Brax = liar, Saint = arrogant jerk, and make me care about them and understand where they are coming from. This series is all about that. As always with this author, there is five-star heat between the characters but a real emotional connection as well once they start talking to each other. I look forward with great anticipation to the next entry.
I read this book first, so I was very curious to see how I would feel about these characters brought to life by Thomas Hart. He was perfect. My initial impressions of the characters were even stronger than on the page, hearing the car towing scene was even more satisfying and funny and the gradual changes in these two guys perceptions of each other were beautifully handled. The heat from the page also comes across enough to melt earbuds.

Braxton and Saint
Loved this book. Braxton is a Lawyer who believes in the law and when he sees an expensive car in a disabled parking spot with no sticker he gets it towed. Later he is going to a job interview to become a partner and lo and behold Saint is a partner and he can't believe his eyes when he sees the applicant is the man who got his car towed. It gets hot from there. Great book

exactly what i expected
after catching these two at the end of book 1, i was looking forward to their story. Saint is just as flashy but down to earth I thought he might be with his family. Glad to see he got his HEA. Let's see what we have next for the next Caldwell brother.

Fantastic book!!
I am enjoying a lot this series.Now in book 2, the story of Saint and Braxton is about how opposite attracts each other. An entertaining plot, with a lot of romance, hot scenes, and some angst that led to a happy ending, this book is simply fantastic. And hearing the profesional reading made by Mr Hart, helped to enjoy it even more. A fantastic book!!

Nice work
Aiden Bates and Ali Lyda did some nice work with Suited For You. Brax and Saint are great characters to get to know, love it when thy argue. First time listening to a book by Thomas Hart and was happy with the narration, did a good job. Craving for book 3.

What lies beneath
I enjoyed this story of the challenges caused by assumptions and misconceptions. Saint has worked hard to achieve success and he sees no reason not to enjoy it. Braxton became wealthy through his mother's marriage after growing up poor, and he hates the kind of conspicuous consumption Saint flaunts. But they both have underlying issues and insecurities.
What is the real reason Saint tries so hard, and what makes Brax so judgmental? As these two men grapple with their different viewpoints and prejudices, they start to grapple each other, and things really heat up. I loved the characters as they learned more about each other, but Braxton drove me crazy with his inability (or unwillingness) to communicate with Saint. It takes almost losing everything to make him come to terms with his own hang-ups.
I am in the minority on the narration. I thought the voices for Saint and Braxton were too similar, and unless the verbiage stated who was speaking when they were both present, I couldn't tell them apart. Otherwise the pacing and emotional expression were spot on.

Great

It just could not grasp my attention. I did not feel the love between those two. I thought the fallout could have been worked out better, not this superfluous 'think one day and change your mind'. And, as in the previous novel, I am really annoyed if a novel is populated with 90% of gay men.
