good book
I don't know why I like Jane Green books so much but I do. Predictable storylines and cartoonish characters but somehow her writing is really engaging. This one is a good example

Good book shame about the narration
I really enjoyed this book but nearly Stopped listening as couldn't bear the veery slooow way jane green enunciates. Positively painful. Pay someone else to read it for you next time! Good story, despite that, albeit somewhat predicable.

Jane Green has done it again!
This is an amazing story of a woman on the journey of recovery and I cannot recommend it enough, it is, in short, as with all Jane Green's books; predictably brilliant!

Great story but slow narration.
could do work a different narrator, good story and strong characters but the slow narration ruined the overall enjoyment.

I love your books
I have followed and read / listened to all of your books, but i just cant get along with Jane narrating herself, please think about changing this for future projects. Anyway about the story, i thoroughly enjoyed it, loving the characters and the storyline, Jane always manages to make you smile, feel sad at times and the characters seem like friends

Great book bad naration
I've read this book myself and loved it but the author can't narrate for toffee. only listened to a few minutes and it's absolutely awful. stilted speech and really nasty to listen to. waste of money

Big disappointment !
I have really enjoyed Jane Green’s books before but this was awful!
The narrator was wooden and robotic, the characters were all horrible and the story depressing. I kept it going till chapter 18 but just as I thought things were cheering up. It got worse! If you don’t want to feel depressed and anxious don’t bother with this book.

Repetitive and unrealistic...
Beware spoiler.....
I don't normally write reviews but somehow this book made me cross!! Firstly, Im sorry Jane but please do not narrate your own books! The narration is slow and laborious. OK, now the story, there is so much repetition, I kept finding myself thinking you've already said this! I know it's only fiction but the author goes to great pains to explain alcoholism and its impact and the benefits of AA, but then theres the fairytale ending which just spoilt it!! it should have ended at the point she realised she was going to be OK by herself. Sorry but this was a very poor story and I just felt disappointed.
