A fantastic and inspirational listen!
I was inspired and became a firm 'sober-curious' after Catherine's brilliant first book and this follow up did not disappoint. Easily understandable but packed full of facts and insights, this book could quite possibly take you places you had never considered. Thank you Catherine!

Really needed this to help with a triggering alcohol holiday

I really loved the book.
I really loved the book. I founded a lot of confort in listening with a lot of funny stories and good examples. Easy to listen too, Catherine is a great narator. Excellent book for anyone is intending to start a journey in being sober. 5 stars❤️ Thanks Catherine

Another fantastic listen ❤
Thank you Catherine for for more fantastic sober stories of hope, joy and sunshine.
I'm 8 months sober with the help of these books, AA and the rest of the sober community.
These audiables have without a doubt made those times inbetween meetings bearable, those shakey moments, the times I need reminding why I'm doing this. You are my torch in that hole, I'm out now, thank you with all my heart ❤

What an eye opener!
A brutally honest description of the humiliation, desperation and struggle people face when addicted and what it takes to overcome addiction. This book evaluates the research showing why some addicts had the odds stacked against them from an early age, even when coming from a seemingly stable background. Finally it shows how our society encourages alcoholism and discriminates against the sober. A beautifully written and narrated book .
