Summary

Did your parents ever do unloving things in the name of love? Here is how you reclaim your sense of self. Do you feel as though your relationship with your parents is seriously limiting your potential? Have they made you feel worthless in the past? Did you or do you have to constantly be there for them and their problems? Have they used physical or emotional pain to “discipline” you? Do they try to control or manipulate you?

If so, then the chances are high you are dealing with a toxic parent. This can be a hard pill to swallow at first, but from here on, everything will begin to get better.

In Surviving Toxic Parents, you'll discover:

  • Groundbreaking insight into how you can prepare for finally confronting your abuser in a productive and healthy fashion
  • What healthy boundaries actually look like and how to set your own
  • Why self-love is the number one key to freedom and how you can build it within yourself
  • A step-by-step guide to true forgiveness and how this will bring you peace
  • Ten practices that will help you to rebuild a healthy relationship once you’re ready
  • And much more...

It might seem like too much to deal with at first, but remember, every great journey begins with the first step. You’ve been thinking about this for a while now, and it is finally time to do what you must in order to break free - in order to bring yourself back to life.

Addressing your relationship with your parents can be difficult, but it is not impossible. With some newfound awareness, the right techniques, and a bit of courage, you can completely transform your entire life. Just look at the story of Oprah Winfrey, who suffered from child abuse at a very early age and still managed to move forward with her life into both fame and fortune.

So, if you’re ready to rid your life of all the toxicity once and for all, then you need this audiobook today!

Informative, encouraging & a practical guide to surviving toxic parenting

A really practical guide to help with recognising toxic behaviour, help setting your own boundaries which may not have even been set by parents, encouraging you to forgive yourself as well as others and growing your own self worth. The author seems very conversational which I like, everyone can understand this topic and so it is an important one to ensure we do not continue toxic cycles in our life and for future generations! Would highly recommend!

Insightful, Powerful Read

A really good insight into recognising what toxic behavior actually is and how our parents can truely affect how we see and treat ourselves, and ultimately how we treat others.
I found myself re-listening to chapter 5 'An Embracing of Self-love' as I still haven't achieved this personally, it felt as though the author was my therapist at this stage, as I was guilty of the negatives each of the points discussed... yet the author spoke on positive and doable solutions on how to overcome this.
