One criticism.
Let me start by saying that I found the book as a whole, educational, informative and helpful.
My only concern is with the section on regrets and making amends. I feel that Mr. O’Kane did not mention that occasionally there will have been actions that warrant that the injured party are not contacted, however sincerely one may wish to make amends. It is the responsibility of the transgressor to make the decision in these cases. There are situations where to apologise or contact the person harmed would cause more grief or pain than would be healed.
I believe that this is touched upon in many ‘twelve-step’ style programmes, so I was a little surprised that it was not covered here. Other than that, I found it a very useful book.

Brilliant! Loved the Narator
This is brilliant and would have great benefit for all. It’s to be read again and again and more titbits can be gleaned. Thoroughly enjoyed the narration as well, so easy to listen to and comforting! Love love love! Will buy it and keep it for my kids to read when they asking these question.

Peter Clarke
Simple and concise breakdown of what makes us tick and what gets in the way of a happy and content life. Not a quick fix, which never works anyway, but if you go back to the chapters that really resonate with your own personality,
and take on board what he says, you will see improvements in your general well-being. It will take work though , but the best things in life always do!

Happiness is....
I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook - in part because of the narrator's lovely, calm Irish lilt, but mainly due to the no nonsense approach adopted by the writer, which suited the content perfectly.

I'd like to have Owen as my therapist.
Owen O'Kane's books have always been insightful, but 'Ten Times Happier' feels different. Unlike the focus on therapy sessions like in "How to be your own therapist", this book dives into the core of happiness. It's like having those final sessions with a therapist – the one who helped you unpack your childhood baggage finally reveal the next steps for you to go out into the big world and BE happy. You get a sense that O'Kane truly understands the journey, offering the perfect nuggets of wisdom to launch yourself into a happier life.
Finishing the book leaves a feeling of nostalgia, like saying goodbye to a great therapist who's held your hand on a journey of self-discovery, but it also equips you with a very realistic and empowering feeling to deal with the future. It's a great book for anyone who feels lost and is searching for a clear path towards greater happiness.
