Final confrontation for the twins

In this, the final book of the 'Legends' series, we see Raislin reaching the end of his goal, does he manage to open the portal to confront the Queen of Darkness? Is his magic powerful enough to overcome her? what becomes of Crysania?

The final battle between brothers pulls in the help of their friends 'heroes of the Lance' (Tanis, Tasselhoff), Krynn is once again in danger of being overrun. The action is fast and furious and the fate Krynn could hinge on the outcome between Raislin and the dark Queen.

A satisfying conclusion to the series and is worth listening to.

The narrator is not the best I've listened to, but does a decent enough job of it, and after listening to the first two books in the series you will be used to his style of narration. If you have persevered with the earlier books then you will not be disappointed with this one.

Great story, let down by flat narration

An amazing story of love, magic, evil and good spoiled by poor narration and lackluster character voices.

Grand ending

Great dramatic ending to the trilogy and series. Writing gets stronger with each book. Narrator had decent voice, but made little attempt to distinguish between characters. Also when a character shouted or screamed he did it with a strange don't disturb anyone low volume which was weird. Maybe a producer told him to do it that way.
