About this listen
Samantha needed a break, and Las Vegas seemed like the perfect escape. After inheriting her father's farm and being cheated on by her long-time boyfriend, she decided she needed a change to make her own destiny. She expected, sooner or later, Prince Charming would come along and sweep her off her feet. She did not expect to be swept off to the stars...literally.
Abducted by a young alien, whose inexperience with anything female proves to be more than an inconvenience, Samantha's days of house arrest on a war-torn planet are boring and dull. Until her mate's older brother comes home, wounded from the war and needing to recover from both physical and emotional wounds.
An immediate attraction sparks between Samantha and this mysterious beast, and she struggles to balance her growing desires and her plans for escaping their alien world. Then, things start to heat up.

I loved this!
I can't help but think this book was conveniently written for 'Furries'. I found it was a bit odd with the aliens being humanoid cats along with cat characteristics, but for Furries or not I loved it and thought it was a fantastic, fun read which I thoroughly enjoyed.
My only gripe was that the aliens were too 'comfortably' similar to humans i.e they live in an apartment, have human-like jobs, play X-box, like human food etc. Nonetheless the main characters are great, I warmed to them all and every now and then found myself smiling and laughing at their antics. However this is not a comedy just naturally entertaining and it does deal with more serious moral aspects of the abduction. I feel I should not say too much about the book in this review as it is better to find out for yourself just how good this is without spoilers, but I highly recommend this book. The narrator did an amazing job, it was easy to decipher between the various male and female characters which is sometimes an issue with other audiobooks. I was given a copy of this book for free of my own choosing and have voluntarily left this review.

Enjoyed
I enjoyed listening to Lilly Ward
Samantha is abducted by an alien while on holiday. The alien who is inexperience is also her mate. That is not her only problem she find herself having feeling for his older brother. The love triangle has lust, affection, anger, violence, and fun as they try and sort it all out.
I a fun and great listen.
