About this listen
There’s more to Rosie’s new dog than meets the eye....
Rosie's always wanted a dog, and now the time is right, so she heads for her local rescue center. She meets Scruffy there and decides he's the perfect dog for her. But things aren't that straightforward - he's only just been brought in, and the shelter must try to find his owners before attempting to re-home him.
A few weeks later, Rosie's patience is rewarded, and she's allowed to adopt Scruffy. But it soon becomes apparent that things aren't quite what they seem. How will Rosie react when she discovers there's more to her new pet than meets the eye?

A great story but too short
A great if short shifter story. Liked the characters and the idea, adopting a stray dog from a shelter and finding out he is a shifter. I would have liked more of the story and a fuller development of their relationship. Narration is very good with an easy to listen to narrator.

Quick, easy listen - enjoyable story
This was a short story but was still good. Rosie wants to adopt a dog, but the one she ends up with is more than she bargained for.
This was an easy to follow story, but I found there was far too much detail about the shelter and adoption process. I would have preferred less, and then have more on the post adoption part - which actually felt too short and ended quite abruptly.
Both the main characters were easy to like, and I enjoyed their conversations and flirting.
A quick enjoyable read.
The narration was good, I love listening to English accents. I would listen to more by this narrator.
