Summary
The new Eddie Flynn novel from the Sunday Times and million copy bestselling author of THIRTEEN, FIFTY FIFTY and THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE.
Daniel Miller murdered fourteen people before he vanished. His wife, Carrie, now faces trial as his accomplice. The FBI, the District Attorney, the media and everyone in America believe she knew and helped cover up her husband's crimes.
Eddie Flynn won't take a case unless his client is innocent. Now, he has to prove to a jury, and the entire world, that Carrie Miller didn't know her husband's dark side. But so far, Eddie and his team are the only ones who believe that she had no part in the murders.
With his wife on trial, Daniel Miller is forced to come out of hiding to save her from a life sentence. He will kill to protect her and everyone involved in the case is a target.

What a plot!
Cavanagh has done it again. Absolutely ace. Finished it as soon as I could. A real page turner. I liked the female voice and Adam sims. Lots of love here in Ireland for Eddie Flynn. I will be getting friends listening to this.

Another great baddie
Back on form, after heading off-campus in the last instalment. A simple story with a great line in misdirection, which nips along at pace.
The established cast are joined by a new character who adds another nice dimension and will hopefully return.
My only grumbles are that the agonising became quite tedious, along with being repeatedly told how much everyone adored Kate.
And, for a legal thriller, strangely there wasn’t actually much courtroom action. I’d like more clever cross examination and sparring with the prosecution. More more more.
As always, Adam Sims did a fine job with the narration.

Another brilliant story
A little fantastical but I really enjoyed the plotline, the pace, as always, the characters. The ending is great, I usually have a good idea of what the ending will be generally, but the twist on the twist at the end really had me!
Definitely worth a listen, if you haven't picked any of these up yet, definitely give them all a go!

Predictable but still excellent!
The only downside was the female narrator who was so wooden it was painful at times
