Summary

A jock tutor and a determined sorority girl in this fun and sexy college sports romance.

Blair

What's the probability of insulting the one guy on campus I need to help me pass statistics? If I knew, I wouldn't be standing in front of Wes Reynolds begging him to tutor me.

Basketball player, sexy, arrogant, always sleeping through class...these are the things I knew about him. What I didn't know is that he is a seriously smart jock.

Wes

What's the best way to get rid of the peppy and unrelenting girl that keeps asking me to tutor her? If I knew, I wouldn't be staring at her tan legs and attempting to teach her statistics.

Sorority girl who's fine as hell, determined, and a ball buster...these are the things I knew about her. What I didn't know is that she is all the things I didn't realize I wanted or needed.

Or that one semester with her would change everything.

A COLLEGE SPORTS ROMANCE

Sorority girl and nerdy Jock

My first book by this author and I loved it, so much so, I've already downloaded the next book.

A college sports romance.

Wes is so laid back, he's hot, he's a great ballplayer and when he keeps acing his tests, Blair becomes intrigued on how he's managing to do it seeing as he sleeps through most of his classes and despite her efforts Blair isn't reaching the grades she needs.

It's a sweet romance with no heavy drama.
I listened to this book in audio and really enjoyed it. Likable characters, humor.
I'm looking forward to Gabby and Zeke's story.

Told in first person dual pov and leads to a hea

My Thoughts on The Assist

This was my first Rebecca Jenshak book but boy do I want more after this. There was so much humor and heart in this book. I loved Wes and Blair. They were both such great characters. The kind you'd want to be friends with. I loved the development of their relationship from classmates who barely knew each other to so much more. They each brought their own something special to the relationship.

I loved the writing style, I loved the plot and characters, and I especially loved the narrators.

Jason Clarke is definitely going on my must listen to everything I can list. Erin Mallon is already there. They were a great choice for this story and I just loved their performance.

Jason Clarke & Erin Mallon fabulous duet narrators

I just love this book. The author Rebecca Jenshak made it not just about basketball the game, but basketball behind the scenes. How the players feels it in their heart, about what it really means to play the game to WIN!The story also had an opportunity to show that all jocks are not stupid, that they do have a brain. The author put some action into it, had a part where you wanted to punch someone, and I definitely don't want to leave out the HOT SEX between Blaire & West.

The narrator's Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon were more than sizzling through my ears because that is what they were giving us throughout the storyline. They had awesome chemistry, like they were meant to do this book together. They're in my "Top 10 List of Duet Narrators" that I would like to hear together in other books, cuz ya they were that sexy hot together. I do recommend this book for sure to others. You'll definitely understand why I gave them 5-🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Suits a young person really interested in sport

Ok, so, I disliked the heroine right off the bat, she was pushy and judgemental and cringe worthy. To me, the ‘dark secret’ driving her behavior was a plot device that should have been dealt with by law enforcement. I liked Wes way more until he ghosted her and was all around sulking bc sport was life. Full disclosure, as a 50yo Australian I just thought he was immature but this could possibly appeal to readers who enjoy a ‘coming of age’ type plot. Both narrators suited the characters and I would certainly listen tothem again but not in this series. This title was accessed as a #Audiobookreviewobsession reviewer

This was an awesome listen!!!

Wes is a college basketball player. He has no time for a relationship, and isn’t looking for one.

Blaire is a college student. She has been burned by a boyfriend and is still being blackmailed by him for a mistake made. She doesn’t want a relationship, nor does she have time for one.

What happens when you’re living out the dream your best friend has had for both of you, and due to an accident, isn’t ready to live it out for herself??

What happens when you meet someone, when you’re not looking for a relationship of any kind, but it comes into your life and you don’t know how to handle it?

What happens when you lose what you believe you’re good at, maybe the only thing... and how do you deal with the relationship you didn’t want, but now have, through all of the disappointment and fear that you’ll never be enough?

The great part of this book is being able to read about this and find out the reasons for the questions and what the answers are. It’s a tremendous book! Rebecca Jenshak is a fantastic writer, and Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke... need I say more!! The narration is spot on!!!!

I loved this!!!

Sweet contemporary sport love story

The overall story was solid and kept me entertained, I really enjoyed the dynamics between all of the characters. The ending felt realistic and not rushed. I will definitely continue with the rest of the series. I absolutely loved the narration slightly more than the book itself. #Audiobookobsessionreviewer

The Assist

A story of love that can happen even at the most unplanned times. I loved listening to this book. The college and basketball references were exactly how I would see things happening in real life. So realistic and the perfect getaway listening to this book.

A cute, sweet, sexy story and a great audio

This was a cute college romance that was sweet and light. I can't say there was anything exceptional or too memorable about it storywise but the audio was amazing. Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon did an outstanding job reading this story. If you pick this book, definitely take the audio experience. It was a great pleasure listening to those two as usual. They put so much emotion in every story they perform and this was not an exception.

That was a nice and refreshing story. It had some intense parts, but it wasn’t overly dramatic and left me smiling at the end. I loved the idea of the sexy smart jock and the girl who needed help with her statistic class. It was kind of fun to read. I had some good laughs with this plot. It was a sexy read and definitely had enough to offer in the steam department. But the story was a bit slow in other terms, a bit uneventful and kind of predictable for the most part.

So all in all this was a nice, sweet story, perfect for in-between books maybe. It was somehow light and fluffy. But it managed to put a smile on my face and left me with a positive feeling altogether. But it was the audio experience that raised the rating of this one for me.
