I love all these books so far Up to this inspector Gamache story, felt this made a pleasant change while still in keeping with the whole storyline . really enjoyed

My favourite in this series so far
Loved the setting, fascinating history and daily life of monks, lots of tension and light moments too. I am even listening to Gregorian chants now.

tying up the loose ends
This story ties up loose ends from the earlier books in the series. Well worth a listen. I hope there will be more to come from Louise Penny.
