About this listen
I never should have agreed to becoming his fake wife....
Sinclair Amadeus Sterling, a.k.a. Mr. Superior Jackass with a God complex.
Who also happens to be my blackmailer...gulp.
Tall, dark, gazillionaire growly pants.
The first time I met him, I kneed him in his very well endowed balls - don't ask!
He had that tightly leashed, controlling air and a smoldering glare that made me damp in seconds.
The only thing that sucks worse than his attitude is his (lack of) sense of humor! Honest.
Sadly, he's also the one who could save my business from going bust. Hell!
So when he offers me the chance to work with him, I can hardly refuse, right?
Only catch? I need to be his pretend wife for - hold your breath - 30 days.
I should have turned and run right then, but....
He has the connections to help my sister's failing health, not to mention the money to wipe away my debt.
And yeah, that...sneaky video recording of him getting me off. OMG!
Besides, it's only 30 days, right?
It’s not like I’m in danger of falling in love with London's most notorious bachelor.
Then he tells me the real reason for the charade.
And everything changes....
Note: This is a stand-alone enemies to lovers, fake marriage, billionaire romance featuring a hot, possessive billionaire and the curvy spitfire who dares to go toe to toe with him!

Excellent Story & Listen🎧 Captivating & Steamy!
I enjoyed this book immensely, it is a fast moving enemies to lovers romance novel with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Summer West is in a bit of a bind, a financial bind, and Sinclair Amadeus Sterling, the billionaire, knew this even before she arrived for an interview at his company. The two had met the night before and while the chemistry between them was through the roof, his alpha-tude, alpha-hole, was also off the roof. And that does not change much when they meet again for her interview, and he manipulates the situation to guarantee that she lands where he wants her. Sinclair is on a mission, a mission of vengeance and has it all planned out, and she is a key part of that plan. Despite him having where he wants her, she does not just bend over and take it instead, she gives as good as she gets. I admired her for sticking it out and her dedication to her sister. And as much as you want to despise Sinclair for his behavior at first, he eventually redeems himself and, after hearing what and the others endured. You get a better picture of why he is the way he is and is so driven by revenge. The plotting and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. There is never a dull moment in this book, the drama is non-stop, the dialogue and back-and-forth banter is amazing and so is the romance. L. Steele, thank you for this fantastic story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Shane East and Faye Adele were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice that suited that character’s persona and was believable in every role they played. Shane East nailed it as Sinclair, playing the demanding alpha-hole, alpha-tude and all. Faye Adele’s Summer was perfection, played her role with the right amount of sass and heart. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

I really tried, but for grown men they seem a bit childish and I just could not take the female narrator.

Alpha
loved the dual narration of Shane East and Faye Adele , brilliant.
Sit back and enjoy. If you like hot Alpha males, who is a billionaire, intelligent and sexy, oh yes great female heroine. This is for you.
Sinclair is out for revenge and it's on Summer. But little does he know the ride he is in for.
Hot and sexy

Fantastic dual narration
This book has a great storyline that centres around the kidnapping of seven schoolboys. Fast forward twenty plus years and these boys are now some of the wealthiest men in the country, known as The Seven and are out for revenge. Spearheading the hunt is Sinclair Sterling, the ultimate alpha hole hero with a dirty mouth and his path to vengeance begins with marriage to a certain pink haired, feisty heroine called Summer.
This is fantastic enemies to lovers, billionaire romance with plenty of sizzling chemistry between the hero and heroine even if Sinclair was a bit all talk and very little action. He was definitely not my idea of hero material, all cold and calculating with no apparent redeeming qualities whatsoever, something I usually love in a hero but here he just came across as mean and nasty, but gradually as his relationship with Summer deepened, he began to change, becoming conflicted about his behaviour and plans. That’s when I started looking at him in a new light and saw he was haunted by the events of the past. There was some fabulous banter between this pair usually involving Summer quoting movie trivia. I loved that she never backed down no matter what he threw at her. With an intriguing array of secondary characters I’ll definitely be reading more from this series.
With dual narration from Shane East and Faye Adele there was a fantastic flow to this audiobook. They both did a fabulous job bringing Sinclair and Summer to life. Shane was perfect as the foul mouthed Sinclair with disdain dripping from his tongue with every sentence while Faye epitomises the quirky Summer and her balllsy, don’t give an inch attitude.

well holy hotness 🔥
This book was so good! I've listened to quite a few books narrated by this duo, and they always bring the story to life and make it really enjoyable.
If you like alpha-hole billionaires who are actually hiding a heart of gold and sassy, take no s**t leading ladies. This book is for you.
The world building was phenomenal, and I can't wait to find out more about the 7. Bring in Saints book!

Loved listening to Sin and Summer
I read this ages ago, but was lucky enough to get a audible copy of the book. Hearing Sin and Summer is so so good. I just loved the narrative between them. This book, is brilliant. Having read four of the billionaire books, this one is still my favourite 😁😁

Disappointing
This book was o.t.t.and in parts far fetched. The first few chapters were ok but until the last few chapters it was all repetition. I am not a prude but where all the " f" words necessary. If the book had been as interesting as the last few chapters the author may have achieved something. This is one audio book I will not be rereading. One good thing was the narrator Shane East.

This Book Should Come With A Warning
This is my very first read and listen from Ms. Steele. I received an audiobook giveaway through Facebook Shane East official fan group Shaneiaks.
This is the first book of the Big Bad Billionaires Series and can be read on its own. I did not know what to expect in terms of writing style from the author. I like the film trivias and quotes that were written in the beginning of the chapters and exchanged between the characters. I enjoyed enemies to lovers trope and this book did not disappoint with all the wicked banter between the alphahole hero and the fierce heroine which is my favourite. Although I overall enjoyed this hot steamy book there are scenes which I find uncomfortable and might even be triggers to some readers one of which is workplace harassment.
Brilliant performance from new-to-me narrator Faye Adele and Shane East brought his A game as an Alphahole Sinclair Sterling.

Fake Wife
A really great story and great start for a new series for me.
At the beginning everything was a bit confusing, but after a short while I was totally into the story and enjoyed it.
The narrators did a great job and I'm looking forward to the next book.
