Summary
"Run my Beauty.... If I catch you, you are mine...."
Michael Byron Domenico Sovrano. The Capo of Sicily's notorious Mafia company. My father owed him, so he took me to repay the debt and married me to further his own ambitions. I hate him; I am determined to resist him. But what happens when I begin to fall for my new husband?
A feisty fashion designer goes toe to toe with a brutal gangster in this marriage-of-convenience age-gap Mafia romance stand-alone and teaches him the meaning of love.
This is Michael and Karma’s complete story; a dark, modern interpretation of a tale as old as time. Buy now.

Too much inner dialogue
I wish books would come with a warning. There is so much inner dialogue. I'm not a fan of books written in this way. The back and forth is annoying. He's mad with his grandma for not sticking up for him or his mother when his father was abusing them yet he's just like his father. The story isn’t believable and Karma is annoying. There's sexual tension but no real chemistry.

Dominant mafia romance
His plan was to kill her but when he took that all changed, I loved that we got 3 books together it made reading them all together such a pleasure. Excellent story with a surprising turn when beauty also has a darkness that is hidden waiting to be explored.

excellent trio of books
I was a little dubious about buying this trilogy as I have only listened to one other L Steele book and found it a little too dark for my taste. however I'm glad I went ahead as I thoroughly enjoyed these books.
Jason Clarke and Roxy Isles both gave an outstanding perfomance in their portrayal of the different characters, putting the perfect depth of feeling and emotions into each scene performed. if I could give them more starts I would. this is a great bundle of books and well worth the credit, I definitely be continuing with the rest of the series.

Absolutely fantastic
Mafia King
5 stars
I love these leading ladies that play hard to get. They desperately want to get it on but know they shouldn’t so fighting is the only way to go. With a brilliant performance from both narrators i really enjoyed this book.
Mafia Queen
5 stars
Oh my….this book is everything I needed. I sassy leading lady that wants freedom yet craves her man. I’m hooked in these characters. Great performance.
Mafia War
5 stars
There’s so much action packed in this book. I was totally hooked. With so much emotion and selflessness I found myself shedding a tear or two. A fantastic performance.

Mica 🔥
Loved the story, but the O. M. G's from Karma really grinded my soul, loved her fiesty attitude towards Mica, but maybe the voice just wrecked it. Twas like the voice of Harmoine (Harry Potter & I love her) reading for the first movie.. Mica was brilliant, easy listen & get you into the chapter.

good story -BUT
The male narrator is super, the female made Karma sound like a spoiled whiney 14yr old.
Well not much make Karma likable in the book..
And I really hate the inner dialogue wich is 2/3 of the book
I stuggled really hard to Finnish this book

Absolutely Amazing
I loved Karma and Michaels story the chemistry between was palpable from the start . Karma was so funny with the things she threw back at Michael I giggled at her on several occasions. Michael was intent on never letting Karma know he had fell in love with her but you could tell in the ways he let her get away with things others would have been killed for. I’m looking forward to listening to Christian and Auroras story.

Let down by female narrator
I am only a quarter way through the first book and I’m seriously struggling. I LOVE JASON CLARKE and eat up anything he narrates but the female narrative in this completely ruins what would be a good story. Whoever cast this needs to have a word with themselves. Her voice doesn’t suit the story or the character. Complete waste of money. Wish I’d read it rather than listened. Not even Jason Clarke can make up for her, I want a refund….or to chop off my ears so I can’t hear her whining, child like, comedic voice.
