Summary
There was a double wedding planned in Walworth. Sally Brown was marrying Horace Cooper, and her brother, Freddy, was at last getting hitched to his childhood sweetheart, Cassie Ford. But the wedding wasn't the only thing being planned, for Ginger Carstairs and Dusty Miller were working out a bank robbery and, unbeknown to the inhabitants of Walworth and Denmark Hill, both Freddy Brown and the Adams family were to be deeply involved and put in considerable danger.
It took much ingenuity on Boots' part to come up with a scheme that would foil the plans of the raiders. And all this was happening at a time when Boots had other worries in his life, and when the unity of his own little family was being threatened.

Brilliant story
Just love this family so much.
Love the way you learn about how London evolves and where we get lots of the traditions from.
Beautifully read and gripping story once again

Another great book!
Lovely story as always! Most entertaining!
My only complaint is that the first books which were offered free were very long books lasting much longer than the books I’m spending my precious credits on - some of these recently purchased lasting only 7 hours!
So although I am enjoying them I feel it was a bit misleading and crafty!
Polly is becoming very tedious!

Another Great Part of the Story
Amazon/Audible….Why is these book’s advertised as free at the end of each book, but not actually free??? I can’t afford to keep buying extra credits so having to wait for the months to roll around is very frustrating.
This is another excellent part of The Adams Family Saga, but like the other reviewers, I am tired of Polly and the way she comes across. I think she would have had a much stronger character and would have moved on from Boots, even if she did still ‘hold a candle’ for him.
