About this listen
Amazon top 100 best seller
I got pregnant from a one-night stand with my worst enemy.
Then I walked into the office to find out he was my new boss....
In my defense, I hadn’t planned on having anything to do with Hunter Whittington again.
So what if his jaw can cut glass, his gaze is piercing, and he has a body that haunted my dreams. Our values are contradictory. Our principles are contrasting. Our upbringing couldn’t be more different.
He’s the entitled Oxbridge educated billionaire on track to become the leader of the country. I’m the daughter of a shopkeeper who by sheer determination rose to become a PR specialist.
We hated each other on sight. Couldn’t spend time in the same room without getting into a fight.
Until we find ourselves double-booked...in the same house over Christmas. What’s worse: There’s only one bedroom. And a snowstorm brewing outside. Then the electricity goes out....
Only the chemistry between us takes off. Unable to keep our hands off each other we make a pact...to spend one night together. We wouldn’t speak about it afterward. Not to each other, not to the world. We’d pretend it never happened. Except for the pink line across the test in my hand....
This is Zara and Hunter’s story. A true enemies-to-lovers stand-alone romance. Features a feisty, determined-to-stand-up-for-herself beauty and the grumpy billionaire who’ll tame her and lose his heart in the process. Guaranteed to give you all the feels and the HEA you crave!
Tropes: enemies to lovers, boss-employee, forbidden romance, growly tattooed hero, strong female lead.

Poor performance from the female narrator
Who would’ve thought a politician could be so hot let alone one’s who’s a prospective Prime minister. Hunter Whittington is definitely a political hero who will make you go weak at the knees with all his dirty talking. Zara Chopra is a challenge to him, in some ways his complete opposite. He’s from a wealthy background born to take his place as leader of the country while Zara’s parents are shopkeepers with her father coming to country from India as a child. She’s worked hard to build up her business in PR and she is now the person to go to when you need help with your image. They move in the same circles and as he’s gotten to know her, Hunter feels Zara is his equal and the one woman he wants by his side if he is to lead and there are no lengths he won’t go to when it comes to getting what he wants even invoking the Sovrano’s preferred methods of spying on their women. It all comes to a head when they get snowed in together at a remote cottage and decide to call a festive truce for one night forgetting that no birth control is 100% effective when the inevitable happens.
I loved the sparring between Hunter and Zara. Their relationship is combustible but then again, he does call her Fire for a reason. It was almost like watching a fencing match as they parried the other’s lunges and strikes and Zara is very creative with the names that she calls Hunter, their banter so droll and amusing. There is some seriously steamy chemistry between them with definite dominant vibes from Hunter but at the same time he is so sweet even cooking her favourite foods for her. The Christmas One Night Stand has got to be my favourite book and couple so far from this author.
As usual Shane East produced a fantastic performance. No one does a quintessential Englishman quite like this narrator did with debonair Hunter, with arrogance and elitism dripping from every word and when he talks dirty, when let’s just say hot flushes aren’t just for the menopause. Unfortunately, Sasha Mia Khan’s portrayal as the feisty Zara just didn’t match his. Perhaps I went into this audiobook with high expectations as I recently listened to The Proposal in which the character of Zara also appeared and the narrator there voiced her parts exactly how I expected her to sound complete with a northern twang. I also had a problem with the continuity of several of the characters especially Summer and Karma who are sisters but for some reason she was given a Welsh accent in this audiobook while Italian Michael sounded like he stepped of the Godfather with his American accent. I loved the written version of The Christmas One Night Stand, but the audiobook just doesn’t do it justice.

A good one
But not one of my favourites.
I can't set my finger on what it was that didn't resonate with me, but it was still a good book.
I loved the male narrator, but found the female one a litte to nasal for my liking.

The tension!!
The premise of this book was intriguing and I found this book pretty entertaining too! Hunter and Zara’s relationship was one that was full of tension, the two are opposites, but the chemistry between the two was sizzling. The writing was captivating and the push and pull dynamic between the two drew me in!
Shane East and Sasha Mia Khan were exceptional as Zara and Hunter and their voices were perfect to bring these characters to life.

Another Great Addition to the Series!
This is the second book in the Morally Grey Billionaires Series. This series is part of the excellent Big Bad Billionaires World. Zara and Hunter's enemies to lovers romance is passionate, and engaging! They are both great characters! I liked the banter, the slow burn romance, the push and pull, and the sizzling chemistry. The supporting characters are amazing! I loved to see again the characters from the Big Bad Billionaires Series. Shane East and Sasha Mia Khan did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to The Agreement, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series.

One Night Stand
Zara and Hunter - they are explosive from the beginning on.
After their "One Night Stand" they just can't keep their hands from each other as soon as they meet.
A really h*t and steamy story.
We also meet the maincharacters from the other books, which I relally enjoy.

Great
I loved this couples story. They started but had no intention of making it a relationship however fate had other ideas. They were reluctant but soon fell in love. A great performance.

Sizzling hot!! 🔥
Hunter and Zara’s chemistry was off the charts. The way these two bounced off each other throughout the book was addictive to read and I could not get enough! There was so much sexual tension between to two and it was made apparent from the beginning, even with the fact that they are opposites!
This book has it all, it was an accidental/surprise pregnancy, enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, one bed and billionaire romance… each trope I freaking love!
If you are looking for a hot, steamy, fun, holiday read I highly recommend picking this one up!! You won’t be disappointed!!
5 STARS!!
